"Rules are rules; staff are not flexible with guest wishes. - we didn't have a great time. It actually started at check-in.... Very bad weather was predicted that night(which luckily wasn't too bad for us afterwards). We travel with a small tent where our luggage is in a vestibule with no groundsheet. In that case we use the car as a storage space for the luggage. In good weather and a little rain no problem, but with the predicted strong winds and lots of precipitation it is not nice. I understand you have a rule of a car-free tent site, don't hear me about it. But if I then ask to upgrade for one night to a place where the car can park next to the tent (because of the announced severe weather) then according to the reception there is absolutely no possibility because the rule is' 'tents on the tent field and campers and caravans on the normal campsite' I also just wanted to pay the full amount, but there was no dicussion possible; rule is rule and then they might have to disappoint a camper or caravan because we with our tent would occupy a place. We really felt treated as lesser campers because we had a tent and not an expensive caravan or camper. Reluctantly we went to the tent field and there we were received by an employee who told us exactly (to the centimeter) where we could pitch our tent (a low spot where obviously water had stood). When we asked if we could not move to the edge of the forest or a few meters, the answer was negative because there would be other tent campers on both sides of us. I could understand if these other campers reserved a specific spot, but the field had no fixed spots. Later it turned out that no one at all was added to the field and that there were many empty spots in the camper and caravan campground where we could have camped. I really don't understand this stiff and customer-unfriendly attitude. You could have made more money from us and left us with a satisfied customer.

"Price-performance ratio is not right at all! - Idyllically situated campsite with no cell phone reception at all, neither Vodafone nor Telekom. I.e. you can't open any websites on your cell phone. Phone calls difficult! Instead, WLAN is sold for expensive money -> a rip-off out of necessity for the campers. Standing in the queue every day to shower (two showers, three toilets in the wash house). Restaurant closed Monday and Tuesday in the high season and the last meal can be ordered until 6.30 pm, after that only drinks. For what the place offers it is clearly far too expensive.

"Unfortunately very different after handover - We have been coming to this idyllic place for many years. Unfortunately, a lot has changed with the change of tenant. Reception opening hours have been reduced to a minimum. According to the tenant, this is because they are "working" on the site. Perhaps they mean that the beautiful lounge with cooking facilities for tent travelers is being gutted. Very dubious, W-LAN does not work, but You can only order bread rolls online. The food vending machine The food vending machine is so overpriced that you lose sight and hearing. When booking online, the entire amount is debited immediately. No money back if you leave early. Yes, dear tenants, that's what the terms and conditions say. We have also read them. But there are also emergencies for an earlier departure. A little goodwill would be appropriate. At our time, the pitch was only half full, but it was not possible to change to a sunnier pitch because of the mud, as everything was supposedly fully booked. Strangely, the pitches remained empty. And if you want hot water for a shower, it's better to go during the day, after 7pm there's only a cold drip. After looking at the menu and the prices, we didn't go back to the restaurant. Neither did other guests, the beautiful terrace remained largely empty. Too bad, we won't be back.

"A time-out in nature - We had a wonderful stay at the Waldbad. Despite the weather, you almost feel at home on the site and the lake. As there will also be winter camping there between the years this year, we would love to come back again this year!
