clean space for caravan clubs, but not for tents
Standard CAMC pitch, many motorhomes and caravans, therefore not such a nice atmosphere, only gravel pitches, good location

Pure tranquility, well maintained place
We stayed at the campsite for a few nights in August 2016. The peace and seclusion are fantastic for anyone who just wants to relax or go hiking. The sights of the Lake District are just a few minutes' drive away. Pre-booking is recommended in high season. This is a British Caravan Club site (www.caravanclub.co.uk).... It is best to join the club before your trip. At many of the club's sites in high season, you only have a chance of getting a pitch if you are a member.
