Great campsite on Skive Fjord
We were there for 4 days and received a very friendly welcome even though it was lunch break. Due to the low occupancy rate, we were given a pitch upgrade. The site is beautifully situated in the countryside and you have a great view of the fjord.
We would love to come back.

★★★★★ Fantastic stay by the Limfjord!
We had a fantastic stay at Skive Fjord Camping. The campsite is beautifully situated with a fantastic view of the Limfjord, and there is peace, nature and a cozy atmosphere everywhere.

The children loved the pool and playgrounds, while we adults enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful terraced... campsite. It's clear that the place is well looked after and you really feel welcome as a guest.

We highly recommend the site to families, couples and campers who want a vacation close to nature - but still close to the city and great experiences. We will definitely come again!

Everything at the campsite is fantastic, the Panorama spot offers a magnificent view of the fjord and the surrounding area. Sanitary facilities are sufficient and clean. The sites are spacious. Play area is there for children. Very warm welcome. The site is well maintained.

We got a very nice welcome and found easily a very nice place with a good view over the Fjord. The location is close to the nature with possibilities for walking, cycling, fishing and other water activities.

Nice location close to Skive Fjord, walking distance. Along the Fjord there is a path for walking or cycling to the harbour of Skive and further up you come to the town. There you will find a lot of nice restaurants, some cozy bars like Midtskiws and Potten, and a lot of shops.
If you enjoy music, Skive... is the place with concerts in the theatre or in the Kulturcenter.
There are also a lot of possibilities for cycling in the area. Trails for mountainbike and more flat routes. This both south from the town, around and in Salling, where a good tip can be the old railway path from Skive towards Glyngøre in the north.

We are here now in the preseason. What a wonderful campsite. You really come to rest here. Beautiful surroundings, plenty to see and do in the neighborhood. Definitely come back here again!

Beautiful terraced campsite
We were only supposed to stay here for 1 night, but it ended up being 5. This was because of the quiet and convenient location of the campground. Plenty to see and do in this area.

Great campsite for smaller kids. Very safe area. Fun playgrounds with bouncy pillows, zipline, tower, etc. My two boys have loved coming to Skive Fjord Camping since they were born! We love going to the beach, building dams, skipping rocks, catching crabs... and of course go with VisionKayak on their tours in GLASS KAYAKS from the campsite beach! The area around the campsite has plenty of things to do - we've been knights fighting we swords on Spøttrup Castle, we've been in the limestone mines, Mønsted Kalkgruber, we always go to the indoor pool just 10 minutes from the campsite... there's plenty of things to do in rain or shine! The view of the water is stunning!

Perfect place for families - especially small kids! Lots to do nearby (don't miss out on a tour in GLASSKAYAK with VisionKayak from the campsite beach!), lots of great nature around the campsite, very nice beach for catching crabs or playing in the water. Nice playgrounds, other kids to play with, super stunning site in general. Amazing view of the water! A must place to visit on your vacation!

Terrace camping on beautiful sites
You immediately feel at home here. The rose-lined camping terraces, the rambler roses in the trees, the horses on the meadows in the entrance area, simply beautiful.

We really enjoyed the campsite. Our seven-year-old daughter was in the playground or at the pool all day. I could easily reach the golf course nearby by bike. My wife took advantage of the offer to go kayaking, as well as sailing. The small town of Skive is easy to reach by bike. It offers many small... restaurants and variety. It is not too far to drive to LEGOLAND. Other theme parks are always less than an hour away, and we had plenty to experience. This place was our center for many excursions and day trips. We will definitely be back.

It's free to use the swimming pool when you stay at the campsite - so are showers and WiFi. Great for the kids! The beach is right next to the campsite, has a nice bathing jetty if you want to catch crabs, or go for a swim. The water is clear and nice. Loved, loved, loved, loved the amazing view - doesn't matter where you look, there's a view of the water, the campsite, the green fields... amazing! There are views from almost all of the pitches, so we loved talking walks on the site, too! Clean and nice facilities! Close to lots of attractions. 20 min from Denmark's best preserved medieval castle, the world's biggest limestone mines and so on. Only 1,5 hour to Legoland, 1 hour to the North Sea (where it was a lot colder and more windy than in Skive. We were so happy to be staying by the Limfjord and then just going for a day trip to the North Sea). A little less than 2½ hour's drive to Skagen - also nice for a day tour. Lots of things to do nearby: only 2 km to the supermarket, 3 km to the city center with lots of shops. The city of Skive has bowling alleys, an indoor water park, cinemas, a theater, a stunning marina... everything you'll need! Even on rainy days.

Very fair prices! Clean and wonderful site. Very unique with it's terraces and view from everywhere.

Swimming pool, WiFi, and showers are all free to use when you stay at the... campsite.
3 km to the city center - 2 km to the nearest supermarket.

Lots of great and safe paths for walking the dog. Dog parks nearby. The dog can go swimming with you on the beach - which is kind of rare. We loved it!

Det er jeg da virkelig ked af at læse. Da du ikke oplyser dit fulde navn, kan jeg ikke går i bookingsystem og se hvilken hytte du boede i. Men hvis du havde valgt en af de hytter, som hedder "ældre luksushytte", er de slidte - deraf er de faktisk også døbt "ældre", så man er klar over hvad... man bestiller. Og det fremgår på ingen måde, at der hverken er fjernsyn eller fryser i inventarlisten, så det handler nok lidt om at man tjekke beskrivelsen godt igennem, inden man bestiller ophold - og prisen er også sat efter dette. Vi har nogle rigtigt fine hytter https://www.skivefjordcamping.dk/luksushytte-30/ som vi endda ofte får at vide, at prisen ligger i den billige ende, og at man får meget for pengene.

Der er WIFI over hele campingpladsen, så det forstår jeg ikke? Vi får meget ofte ros for at være venlige og meget hjælpsomme, så kan slet ikke genkende dine negative beskrivelser.

Vi havde dog et enkelt hold gæster i sommeren 2023, hvor manden var meget nedladende og aggresiv, over at han ikke kunne få barnets Ipad til at virke - vi havde desværre en defekt, som ikke kunne laves på en lørdag-søndag, men straks mandag morgen, havde vi reservedele og fik det op at køre igen. Jeg tænker, om du er ægtefællen..... Så uvenligt personale - tja ville du selv finde dig i at blive "overfaldet" på den facon som han benytter?

We stayed at the campsite for 4 nights on our trip to Denmark. On our arrival we were greeted very friendly in perfect German. The site is spacious and the individual pitches are very large. Some pitches are sheltered from the wind (but without a view of the fjord), which we really appreciated with our... folding caravan. Unfortunately, the walk to the wash house was a little longer. Our pitch was uneven, which caused some problems with our Falti. Some of the CEE power connections are a little further away. We were therefore glad to have our 25m cable reel. We had our peace and quiet during our visit, as the site was virtually empty. The sanitary facilities are fine and clean, we didn't use the pool due to the weather. The bread roll service is also okay, but for us it was more of an emergency solution. There is free W-LAN on the site and showers are also free. You can visit the town of Skive, but you don't have to. We spent a lot of time in the surrounding area. The nature on the islands of Fur and Mors is absolutely worth seeing. All in all, if you're looking for a clean site, peace and quiet and want to enjoy the view from the slightly more expensive panoramic pitches, this is the place for you.

Wonderful pitches with a view of the fjord. Close to the town of Skive. Cycle paths starting/passing right by the site. Beautiful tours through the surrounding area possible. Very quiet and relaxed.

Beautiful, quiet site with partly terraced pitches and fjord views. Very friendly staff. During our visit in June, the sanitary facilities were all closed, except for the family bathrooms. This often led to longer waiting times.

Nächstes Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist nur in 2 km Entfernung.

Das große Servicegebäude ist in der Nebensaison immer von Sonntagnachmittag bis Freitagmorgen geschlossen, da werktags nur sehr wenige Besucher da sind. Stattdessen wird das kleine Gebäude genutzt.
Wir entschuldigen uns, falls es zu Wartezeiten gekommen sein sollte.
Selbstverständlich wird es geöffnet, wenn unter der Woche viele Gäste da sind.
