The on-site restaurant is highly recommended. It’s also not common to find a swimming pool at a campground. It’s too bad that, during our stay, it didn’t open until noon. I would have liked to go for a swim early in the morning. Friendly staff, cleanliness, beautiful, spacious campsites—even the restrooms are spotless, and it always smells so pleasant there. The lovely swimming pool is heated, and the lifeguard is super nice. And the food at the restaurant is delicious. Bringing our dog along was no problem at all. We’d love to come back. We were in spot 253. At first, we were a bit worried about this spot because half of it was hard ground. But it turned out to be much better than we expected. Half was grass and half was gravel, which wasn’t a problem at all.
The restrooms... were very neat and nice. They stayed very clean, even when the weather was bad. The restaurant was excellent—the food was delicious. The beer hall was also very cozy. It did get a bit warm inside when the weather was nice during the day. Unfortunately, the outdoor terrace wasn’t open.
The pool was clean and fun for the kids. The playground and soccer field were also used frequently. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great. The sites are a bit close together on one side of the campground (the side with 415); a few more hedges or trees would make it absolutely perfect. The lawn wasn’t mowed regularly—in the heat, there was no grass left. The door locks were broken. There was an odor in the restrooms.
What bothered us was the children’s program. During our stay,... it was offered exclusively in Dutch. We would have expected the children’s program to be offered at least in German as well, or for the most important points to be explained in German as well. The “Brötchen App” doesn’t always work, and the Wi-Fi is poor.

Now we’re back, just to experience that wonderful feeling all over again. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a great week. There weren’t enough restroom facilities, and there was no shade at our site. The paths were covered in terrible gravel, so you could hear every step taken in the morning. Otherwise, everything is top-notch—from the cleanliness (the staff really go above and beyond) to the service and even the game nights (like beer pong and bingo). Everyone had a great time and got really into the action!

The staff does everything they can to keep it that way—it’s a shame there are some filthy people who leave the restrooms disgusting, smearing feces on the doors, right after the cleaning crew has just been there. I find that very disrespectful and disgusting....
I find the sites very small, but we knew that going in.
