Everything was great! clean and dog friendly! we even booked a private WC + shower! there is a lot to discover and see even in winter very nice and open which suits us very well as we are traveling in winter.

the staff are very friendly and there are many options for good food!

Never again Orbitur. We were here with the caravan. We had to pay 41 euros a night for a pitch, car, caravan, two people and a dog. That would be okay if the service was right. But everything was outdated and really run-down.
The only positive thing was the hot water for washing up.

Very large and beautiful campsite. There's always room and it's well located between Praia da Luz and Lagos. Old and dilapidated toilets: Mirrors only for very short people. Some toilets look very bad. Taps, door locks, clothes racks in the showers, etc. are missing. I don't understand why, in practically... every campsite I know, they have designed two racks for clothes and towels in the showers and then, when one falls, it is never replaced, as if the initial idea of having two was a crazy idea. It's one of the things I miss the most when I go for a shower, because the benches are usually wet and end up not serving as a support at all, so we have to juggle everything we're carrying on a single rack, at the risk of something falling to the floor and getting wet. Next to the washbasins, the problem is the same because in many of them we have to hold the towel between our legs while we shave, for example. Some of the "repairs" are real third-world improvisations. I saw a door lock that had a broken handle and, instead of replacing it with another lock (a very cheap repair), they stuck a screw in it that protruded 2cm and it was this screw that served as the handle. Ridiculous. Purposely sloppy or incompetent management. Either way, bad. 30 years ago Orbitur was the benchmark for campsites in Portugal but now, with the exception of a few, the rest are a shadow of their former selves and there are much better options.

C-Pl. is too far from the sea, therefore quite empty. Piscina available.

A large campsite, which unfortunately has no space allocation. To the beach in Luz only possible by bus. The same goes for Lagos. Lagos is very interesting, also has a C-pitch a few 100 m from the water.

It only goes up and down. Sanitary facilities unclean. Long cables required for electricity.
Only suitable for overnight stays
There is a goat pen behind the fence at the top of the pitch. Lots of flies and unpleasant odors. Since some sanitary facilities are being renovated, the paths to the others are very long. To the beach about 2 km no shopping facilities available, only in the village about 3 km. Pool available.
