"July 2025 Camping 4 adults+dog - All in all, the price for this place is too expensive. I'm actually used to a different quality from Valamar here.

"Beautiful campsite - with compromises in terms of privacy - If you are looking for peace, privacy and relaxing days on the beach, you may not find what you are looking for on the pitches in the front row facing the sea. These areas offer little opportunity to retreat, which can limit the relaxation factor. We also found the price-performance ratio - especially in the first row - to be inconsistent. The pricing for children aged 12 and over, who are charged like adults, also seems inappropriate in our view. Travelers with dogs should note that the conditions on site are not ideal: There are hardly any suitable green spaces nearby, and the dog beach is a little further away and doesn't seem particularly inviting.

"nice campsite but on the public beach - The location in the first row by the sea sounds tempting, but unfortunately comes with many restrictions. Those looking for relaxation, privacy and laid-back beach days will be disappointed here. For families with children or guests who prefer action and a central location, it may still be suitable. Price-performance ratio in the 1st row is not justified for us.

"Beautiful place near a beautiful city - We went back to Rab after a few years. It's still a beautiful place that has recently undergone a lot of investment. A lot has been built and rebuilt in recent years. The town can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes, alternatively there are many cab boats. Everything you need is available on the square. The prices are very high, especially in the food market. It's well worth driving into town for small items. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The site and the sanitary facilities were always clean. We had a pitch in area C. The pitches there vary in size. We couldn't fit our car next to the caravan and awning, but there are plenty of free parking spaces on the site. The campsite restaurant is of modest quality but still quite expensive. There are better alternatives. The bakery is ok but unfortunately more or less sold out shortly before midday. The beach is a narrow strip that is very small for the size of the site.

The island of Rab belongs to the northern group of Adriatic islands in the Kvarner Gulf and is located in the 44th parallel north. It lies at the foot of Velebit, the distance from the city of Rijeka is approx. …105 km. By car Via Salzburg and Karawanken Tunnel into Slovenia, onward via Ljubljana and Postojna in the direction of Croatia and the city of Rijeka, from the city of Rijeka on along the Adriatic coastline road 105 km to the ferry port Stinica or over the Krk bridge to the island of Krk and from Valbiska harbour by the ferry to Lopar harbour on the island of Rab Via Vienna and Graz into Slovenia, onward via Maribor to Zagreb, from the direction of Budapest and the city of Varaždin to Zagreb, from Zagreb along the highway to Žuta Lokva, then onward in the direction of the city of Senj, then 38 km along the Adriatic coastline road in the direction of Split to the ferry port Stinica. Across Switzerland into Italy and onward via Milan, Venice and Trieste in Slovenia, on in the direction of Croatia and the city of Rijeka, from the city of Rijeka along the Adriatic coastline road 105 km to the ferry port Stinica or over the Krk bridge to the island of Krk and from Valbiska harbour by the ferry to Lopar harbour on the island of Rab From the direction of Dalmatia via Split motorway towards Zadar over the Gospić, and further down the local mountain road the town of Karlobag and along the Adriatic coastline road from the town of Karlobag to the ferry port Stinica or via Split and Zadar motorway to the exit Starigrad- Paklenica and further along the Adriatic coastline road in the direction of Rijeka to the ferry port Stinica.
