The campground is in a great location, close to the harbor and the center of Hyères. The staff was very welcoming. The campground is nice—it has everything you need—but it felt like the end of the vacation season, even though we were there during the last two days of July. Too bad.

The mobile home we had didn't make for a very welcoming atmosphere; there was no view of the driveway (the patio had screens that blocked our view of everything).

I enjoyed the moment. I'm from Sanary, but this was a nice change from my daily routine. Your staff is great. Thank you.

I know you don't manage the place, but the quality of the pizzas is terrible. I invite you to try them so you can see for yourself that I'm right. I stayed in bungalow 342. Needless to say, the playground opening at 8 a.m.—with kids screaming and grandmas talking loudly—ruined my stay, or at least my peace and quiet.

The tourist tax is too high; it should be lowered. The pool and sauna close at 6 p.m., which is too early. Airplane noise is very disruptive for vacationers who came to relax. The entertainment is mediocre and needs improvement. No DJ nights. Themed entertainment needs improvement.

On the other hand, cleanliness leaves something to be desired: the shower wasn’t clean—there were limescale stains all over the shower wall, soap residue on the wall, and black stains around the shower grout. The floors in the bedrooms weren’t swept. There’s mold around the rubber seal of the freezer. Water leaks through one of the windows whenever it rains heavily. It’s all well and good to check into the bungalow around noon, but it needs to be clean.

The sports facilities (mini-golf and tennis court) were run-down. The evening entertainment didn't live up to a 4-star hotel's standards.

The proximity to the beach is the only real plus. It's within easy walking distance, so you can enjoy the seaside.

We don’t understand why this campground has a 4-star rating. There’s no organization of activities, and the lack of engagement on the part of the activity leaders is glaring. The broadcast of the World Cup was particularly poorly organized. As for the activities offered, they gave the impression of being improvised. For example, for the archery introduction session, there were only two plastic bows, a single target, and three arrows per child—all hastily set up at the base of a tree, with no real supervision or organization. At the pool, despite the presence of lifeguards, the rules were not enforced.

Location

As for the pool, the water slides and the lazy river are closed from noon to 2 p.m.; the pool closes at 7 p.m. during the height of summer. There were several power outages, which meant I had to buy a phone adapter. I mentioned this to the front desk, but they didn’t offer any compensation.

An old, poorly maintained campground: a swimming pool that’s run-down in places, weeds, and sports activities held in a field covered with leaves. No shade for the mobile homes.

The staff is competent and friendly, but there aren’t enough of them. On the other hand, the rules aren’t enforced. I didn’t get any shuttle rides—I always had to wait until around 5:30 p.m. You said at the entrance that you’d be handing out towels, but I didn’t get any in a week. Same goes for swimsuits—I didn’t appreciate people wearing T-shirts and tight pants in the pool.

It's fine, but a little old—it needs to be refreshed and prepared.

The mobile home was in poor condition—a bit dirty. Although it was listed as an "economy" option, the price is way too high for the quality of the accommodation. Not enough activities for teens—

The Pool

The mobile homes are so close together that it feels like we’re living in the same room. Plus, you have excellent activity leaders, but they don’t have the means to do their jobs. There are no sports facilities (a soccer tournament without a field), and the France game was shown on a TV with a mirror in broad daylight—so you can imagine the rest. Couldn’t you invest in a big screen for special events? I was also disappointed with the condition of the bathrooms in the mobile homes—brown limescale in the toilet bowl and a lack of tableware: only three stemmed glasses for four people, and no bowls...

The campground attendant was definitely aggressive. Ten minutes after we arrived, things calmed down. The “adults-only” evening needs work—the aperitif game was fun, but other than that, there was nothing for adults.

Pretty good stay overall, but only one restaurant, no entertainment for kids—and cabaret is for adults, right? People were leaving one by one; the magic show was mediocre; no music by the pool—there was a subwoofer, but it was just sitting there as decoration in a room; not much music in the restaurant, just reggae. If you want peace and quiet, you’ll get it. The waiter was great. The entertainer was mediocre. It doesn’t deserve 4 stars. The mobile home was clean. You’ll have to try it for yourself, since everyone has their own opinion. But if you want to have fun in the evening, you’re better off heading to the town square in Hyères.
