Martina K.august 20245.0Martina K.august 2024PositiivsedBeautiful location on Lake Ossiach, partly in terrace form, very large pitches, top sanitary facilities, they try to make everything possible, gastronomy very good in price/performance and service, many activities possible in the area: cycling, hiking and swimming.NegatiivsednoneCamping by the lakeFriendly boss in the long-standing family business, we even got a place in the high season.

Friendly reception, we hadn't made a reservation but we were allowed to stay on condition that we changed pitches again, which wasn't a problem for us. Our dog was also allowed to stay and the rules for dog owners can be followed. So that no one is disturbed.NegatiivsedWe found the drinks in the store very expensive, a Gösser beer 3 € (in Spar 1,20 €, ) this should be reconsidered.Nice place for everyone.As a tip: it would be nice to have a bathing area for dogs on the beach, perhaps in the very small bay, perhaps also limited in timeAutomaatselt tõlgitud.Ükski matkaja pole pidanud seda hinnangut veel kasulikuks. Everything is clean and well maintained. Showers and washing area renovated and spacious. Fantastic location, beautiful scenery!NegatiivsedThe toilets and washing-up facilities are getting on in years. Cramped and you have to queue and wait at certain times to wash up.Fantastic location, beautiful place!What a beautiful vacation region! The world still seems to be in order here, while at the same time it has already gone to tourist hell at Lake Wörthersee and Lake Faak. For many (including us) it's just a transit destination to Croatia or back. But it's really worth staying longer! There are plenty... of tips at reception. On the first day, we cycled once around Lake Ossiach on the lake circuit, which is a great way to get started.
You immediately feel at home on the pitch! The large hedge in the middle makes the campsite seem smaller and cozier.
And this addendum has only marginally to do with "ideal camping": What do you actually think of permanent campers?Automaatselt tõlgitud.Ükski matkaja pole pidanud seda hinnangut veel kasulikuks. Ole esimene! - 3.0

- 5.0PMPeter M.juuli 20215.0PMPeter M.juuli 2021PositiivsedCleanliness, location, friendliness of the staffNegatiivsedNothingSuper campsiteThe campsite is beautifully situated on Lake Ossiach. This offers many opportunities for a wide range of activities, but also space to relax. The site is very well maintained, very well equipped, the sanitary facilities are cleaned often and the staff go out of their way to make the campers' vacation a great experience. We felt very comfortable! Thank you very much!Automaatselt tõlgitud.1 matkaja leidis selle hinnangu olevat abistav.
- 5.0SSSabine S.juuni 20215.0SSSabine S.juuni 2021Positiivsedbeautiful lakeside locations bookable online very nice, patient reception team well-kept shore areaNegatiivsedI can try as hard as I like, I just can't think of anything...:-)a little paradise by the lakeThe campsite is beautifully situated, almost at the eastern end of the lake. It is wonderfully quiet there. The passing road cannot be heard on most of the pitches. The pitches are paved and large. Everything looks very well-kept. We were right by the water and stayed longer than originally planned.... All the activities around the lake are easily accessible by bike. There are cycle buses for longer distances, which are included in the free guest card.

- 3.0MWMarkus W.august 20203.0MWMarkus W.august 2020PositiivsedLocation; lake accessNegatiivsed...basically ok,......but we don't understand why the place is rated SO well!!!
Nice staff;
nice access to the lake;
Pitches well maintained!
Card payment is offered but not desired!
The entrance and paths are very narrow (as already mentioned several times); store very poor and only open in the mornings;
Electricity... protection on the standard pitches in my opinion not Austrian standard (coffee machine and 1 hotplate at the same time = fuse blows);
and in terms of cleanliness of the wash/toilet house there is a lot of room for improvement!!!!! (compared to our last stay in Croatia!) Of course, as far as the toilet facilities are concerned, the visitors/users must also be put through the wringer!!!! (the toilet brush may be used!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Stations for emptying the chem. WC virtually on the open road, right next to or in one with the fresh water pipe where you can get drinking water!
Nevertheless, we had a nice stay!
As I said, basically a nice place but with room for improvement!Automaatselt tõlgitud.Ükski matkaja pole pidanud seda hinnangut veel kasulikuks. Nice and quick information before your vacation!
Fresh rolls every day.
Beautiful excursion destinations nearby! Be sure to buy the Kärnten Card, we saved well over 100€!
Will definitely be back!Automaatselt tõlgitud.1 matkaja leidis selle hinnangu olevat abistav. - 2.0TWThomas W.august 20202.0TWThomas W.august 2020PositiivsedShowers are new and very nice. Sanitary facilities are very clean. The staff are very friendly. Nice lake access with beautiful sunbathing lawn. Pitches in the lower area very quiet.NegatiivsedWC facilities and dishwashing room old and sometimes quite cramped.Campsite directly on the lakeThe entrance/exit to the pitches with larger caravans are sometimes very narrow, the pitches can sometimes only be accessed with a mover. The exit (garbage island) from the campsite is also quite narrow, as both sides are partially blocked by parked cars. Some of the pitches themselves are very narrow... and sloping (looks much bigger on the plan). The pitches are not gravelled which leads to very muddy and boggy ground in the event of prolonged rain (unfortunately we had this). Some of the water taps are a long way from the pitches. There are only a handful of pitches with a direct drainage connection. The store is quite small, but well stocked for breakfast. The restaurant has a rather small menu and unfortunately no vegan dishes on the menu, but the food is fine. The pitches in the upper area are a bit noisy due to the road traffic. The management could be a bit friendlier........Automaatselt tõlgitud.2 matkajat leidis selle hinnangu olevat abistav.
- 5.0ASAlexandra S.august 20205.0ASAlexandra S.august 2020PositiivsedLocation, cleanliness, lake, friendlinessNegatiivsedParking space layoutDream vacationThe campsite is really highly recommended. The operators and the entire staff were really very friendly and helpful! It was cleaned and disinfected very regularly! There were plenty of sanitary facilities. The lake access is divided into three parts and very shallow for walking in! The restaurant at... the campsite is also highly recommended! A big advantage for non-dog owners is the dog-free zone in the entire lake area. However, there are dog showers! The location is also perfect, there is plenty to do for young and old in the surrounding area! The orientation of the pitches should perhaps be briefly reconsidered, as the pitch layout is not quite perfect (orientation of the WWs and WMs), but that is the only shortcoming, if you can call it that!Automaatselt tõlgitud.Ükski matkaja pole pidanud seda hinnangut veel kasulikuks. - 4.0JJJörg J.august 20194.0JJJörg J.august 2019PositiivsedGreat location Very well maintainedNegatiivsedWe can't think of anyOvernight stop on the way south with a desire for moreWe stayed at this beautifully located campsite for two nights on our way south. Reception, sanitary facilities, the lake - everything was great. There are toilets in several places on the site, all of which are in good condition, so you don't have to walk too far to the toilets. The private access to... the lake is perfect. It's a wonderful place to spend a vacation. Definitely also for more than two days. We can't judge the restaurant as we went to eat on the beach promenade, which is just a few minutes away by bike on the cycle path. Thank you for a wonderful time, we will definitely be back. For large caravans, the access to the individual camping pitches could be narrow and wedges or similar for alignment are certainly helpful, as the pitches slope down to the lake.Automaatselt tõlgitud.Ükski matkaja pole pidanud seda hinnangut veel kasulikuks. - 4.0GGGünter G.juuli 20194.0GGGünter G.juuli 2019PositiivsedGood location. Not too big place. Friendly staffNegatiivsedEntrances and exits from the pitch too small. No midday rest periods.Beautifully situated campsite on Lake OssiachComing for the 32nd time this summer for 3 weeks. That actually speaks for itself! Ideal location for cycling tours and excursions to the surrounding mountains. Over the years, however, we have noticed some negative points. The barrier should remain closed at lunchtime. Dogs should be on separate pitches.... When the pitch is full, barbecuing with wood is often very annoying. It should be checked several times a day whether the site rules are being adhered to. This used to be the rule!Automaatselt tõlgitud.1 matkaja leidis selle hinnangu olevat abistav.
