Positiivsed
Cleanliness, friendly staff, safety, location, beautiful sea.
Negatiivsed
The campsite doesn't have a playground, but we didn't miss it at all.
Excellent, easily accessible campsite in the heart of Pelion
Very nice quiet family campsite located right on the sea shore. We got a site 10m from the sea without any special extra charge! The sanitary facilities are modern and almost continuously cleaned. The staff at the campsite are very friendly and helpful. There is a small shop at the reception with everything... you need. The campsite is located at the end of the small village of Kato Gatzea where there is not much to do, but it is easy to walk to the next village Kala Nera where there are more shops and restaurants. The sea in the bay is clean and calm. Those who want big waves must cross to the other side of the peninsula to the open sea and choose one of the several most beautiful beaches in Greece. The whole Pelion peninsula is amazing and well worth a holiday!

Positiivsed
Friendly, quiet, shady, beautiful beach
Negatiivsed
Internet and Wifi unstable, noise from air conditioning on eastern edge seats.
Quiet, shady spot on a beautiful beach
Was there for 8 days as a solo backpacker in August 2018. The site is quiet and has lots of shade from the trees. The staff are super friendly and speak English and German and the sanitary facilities are constantly cleaned - very clean. The beach is full in high season and at weekends, but there are... still free shady spots under the trees a few meters away. The restaurant serves delicious food; drinks are a little more expensive than in the villages. Mini market has the essentials at normal prices. Kato Gatsea, 5 minutes' walk along the beach: restaurants and bars. Kala Nera, 15 minutes' walk along the road: restaurants, bars, self-service food, small supermarkets. Good starting point for hikes or rides on the Pelion railroad.

Sanitary for women
Beautifully located near Volos
We were there at the end of September/beginning of October, so I can only judge the low season. The operators are friendly. As we had a pitch right by the water, the pitch was of course fantastic with a view over the bay. I can't judge the restaurant, in my opinion nobody or only very few guests ate... there. Most of the tables and chairs had been cleared away. Right next door at Camping Sikia you can have an excellent meal. The sanitary facilities for the men are new and in good condition. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the ladies' sanitary facilities. I was disgusted. They were cleaned every three days at most. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and condition of the sanitary facilities in Greece is still a major problem in 2017. This has remained unchanged during my stays in Greece since 1980 and this has nothing to do with the crisis but with the general attitude towards guests. What a pity.

Camping vacation with friends
Beautifully situated site in an olive garden right by the sea. Very well-kept and clean. The owner family and the entire staff are very attentive and extremely friendly, open to any request and also speak several languages, German perfectly. We felt we were in good hands with friends and will visit this place again next year.

Very personal...
The owner speaks excellent German and makes every effort to fulfill the wishes of his guests. Fresh bread is available daily. The small store offers everyday items even in the off-season! Wonderful location right on the beach! Highly recommended overall!

Very nice place right on the beach with beach showers. Very friendly and hard-working management. Languages: Greek, German, English, French... Good cuisine. Beach bar. Plenty of shade, old olive trees. Free internet throughout the site. Shopping facilities cheaper than in the local supermarket.

Quiet, clean sea, nice permanent campers, beautiful pitch, great also with our 2 dogs, walking possibilities given
Negatiivsed
somewhat secluded
Nice operator
We were completely satisfied, nice staff, good food, clean sanitary facilities. About 10 minutes in one direction and about 20 minutes on foot through olive groves in the other direction, there are a few stores and restaurants within walking distance. Otherwise rather quiet, with no special facilities... or attractions. Nevertheless, a great place for us, we were there for 2 weeks with our 10-year-old son, snorkeling, etc. great, even a seahorse dived up briefly and of course released it again ;) Not a place for action, but a place for peace and nature lovers.

We spent 8 days here in mid-July. It was €21 per day - two adults, tent, car, electricity, tent pitch - all inclusive. Free use of fridge and freezer. The staff are friendly and helpful. The campsite and beach are very popular with locals. Small pebbly sandy beach, one or two metres inland hard sand,... relatively slowly deepening. Child and parent friendly. Most of the campsites are equipped with shade nets. Mostly olive groves, with shady places on the beach. Well guarded, well lit at night. Toilets and bathrooms are clean and are cleaned several times a day. Unfortunately, not all guests appreciate this. Tap water is drinkable and cold. Hot water service was interrupted from 13,00 to 18,00, but it was not needed, 38 C° in the shade. It is worth walking around the area, the mountain range running along the peninsula, if possible. We went to Agria, Kato Gatzea and Kala Nera, where the coastal roads are usually closed in the evenings and turned into pedestrian streets. I recommend it to everyone! We will return...
