Only the Darß is top. The place wasn't a few years ago. All junk and run-down. Now 2025 in April even worse than before. The owner was friendly back then. As it looks now, mostly permanent campers in almost only old houses. Poor sanitary facilities, cold and not pleasant. Inexpensive does not have to be bad, but this place is only worth 1-2 stars
Negatiivsed
Nothing for real campers
Reviews, not the way I experienced it
Not again, simply no place to feel comfortable.
Poor sanitary facilities.
Waste disposal poor
Place bad
Electricity and water too far away
Quiet used to be good, now building sites.

Cheap and quiet CP off Fischland/Darß
We spent 2 nights on this campsite and can only recommend it if you are looking for peace and quiet on a nature campsite. The location was perfect for us. We cycled from there to Zingst. Bodstedt itself is really cute, but not spectacular. We arrived unannounced and could simply choose a pitch. We had... very quiet nights. Bread rolls were available directly on site. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but were clean. Unfortunately, I only had cold shower water one morning - but the showers didn't cost anything extra. Overall, unbeatable, especially for the price, and we would come again any time. Only the toilet paper in front of the cabins is somehow impractical.

Nice friendly campsite at reasonable prices
A beautiful campsite with free choice of pitches at reasonable, fair prices. The operator is super nice and helpful. The place is child-friendly, there is a nice playground where children can still be children, there are daily fresh rolls, butter, milk, eggs everything there. The place has WLAN with... measured 39 MBit even in the grove. There is a mini golf course which is really fun, clubs can be borrowed from the groundsman. The sanitary facilities are clean, toilets and showers are cleaned regularly. CONCLUSION: All in all, a nice campsite with a friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. Pitches with electricity and water, children's playground and mini golf. Bakery on site. If you can do without superfluous tam tam and things that the world doesn't need and want to go on a cheap vacation, this is the place for you!!! We will definitely be back

Positiivsed
Quiet, good value for money, good infrastructure in the village, friendly site management, showers included in the price, no pitches.
Negatiivsed
The central dispenser for toilet paper of poor quality in front of the toilet cubicles.
Quiet, friendly, inexpensive, gladly again, the gateway to the Baltic Sea
We look back fondly on our vacation days on this site in July 2017. We had a friendly welcome from the site manager Mr. Duda and were able to choose a pitch on the spacious site (natural and unparceled). Despite the vacation season, the site was not overcrowded. There is a shady wooded area and a sunny... meadow pitch. There is a bakery stand, children's playground, mini golf course, 3 rental bungalows and rental caravans. Unfortunately, the summer cinema was no longer open. The sanitary facilities are functional, clean but somewhat outdated. The price in high season (2 adults, 1 car with caravan incl. electricity and showers) is a very reasonable €19.80. Overall very quiet and not stuffy. 3 restaurants in the village and a fish restaurant. 2 harbors and 3 bathing spots in the Bodden. Good network of cycle paths. Zingst, Prerow and Barth within easy reach. We also recommend the Pütnitz Museum of Technology and the town of Ribnitz. You can also eat well in the village of Saal. We liked it and will be back.

Space in the DDR standard. Simple and natural.
An ideal place to explore Fischland/Darß by bike. It is located on the Bodden and is central yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the Baltic Sea coast. This place was left standing at the turn of the century. And that's not a bad thing. It has been left natural and quiet. Free choice of... pitch in the unparceled forest or on the meadow. The site is pitch dark at night because it is unlit. Friendly and helpful groundsman. The sanitary facilities are old but clean. What we found a little strange was the toilet paper dispenser at the entrance to the toilet area instead of in each cabin. Electricity, water and showers are included.

Oasis of peace
If you value peace and quiet and aren't looking for the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you. We also found the price-performance ratio to be very pleasant. The sanitary facilities are not modern, but clean.

Quiet and beautiful!
Particularly informal and not far from the Baltic Sea, but noticeably quieter. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the Baltic coast in the high season, this is the place for you. The size of the pitch is also very pleasant!

Quiet campground, great base to see former islands.
Was allowed to pick a spot ourselves and there was plenty of choice. Did not register until we signed out! Administrator assumes good faith. Hot water is: be there on time. There is a boiler fired and hot water runs via solar energy. Was in our time lukewarm water. Free of charge though. Plumbing is... fine. Reasonably clean. The campground has bread sales in the morning. Diagonally opposite the campground at 200 meters you will find beach and mooring of tour boats (can sometimes bike along). From the campsite is good cycling to Darss, Ziemst, Barth. etc. The word Kranich you come across everywhere, but in our time you do not see them. September, October is the time. From here Rostock, Wustrow, Graal, Ribnitz is also doable. The 105 has many delays at Rövershagen due to amusement park.

About the pitch: A very nice pitch, with beautiful trees and free choice of pitches. Very quiet, which invites you to relax. Nearby (approx. 100 m) is a small beach on the Bodden where you can also swim. Another beach on the Bodden is about 500 m away at the harbor. The island of Zingst is about 15km... (20min drive) and supermarkets can be found in Barth, about 10 minutes away by car. There is also a small movie theater right next to the campsite. The groundsman is absolutely friendly and helpful, but unfortunately also overburdened with the site, as he does everything on his own. Regarding the sanitary facilities: The sanitary facilities are in a desolate state. The groundsman certainly makes every effort, but unfortunately this doesn't help with the age and the cleanliness is on the lower end. What I do like is that you don't have to pay extra for hot showers. My conclusion: a really nice place that needs a bit of renovation. On the other hand, the very low price, which is appropriate for this facility, is a positive aspect. If you're looking for peace and relaxation and don't set great store by state-of-the-art sanitary facilities, this is the place for you.

Quiet, close to the Bodden, free choice of pitch, no "pitch bays", prices!
We've been camping here for several years and think the price-performance ratio is excellent, the free choice of pitches is great and the groundsman is very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are a little older, but clean and showering doesn't cost anything extra. Our children have the ideal... conditions here to surf in the shallow waters of the Bodden, 2 different bathing spots are within easy walking distance. Shopping can be done quickly by car, but is also very easy to do by bike. A summer cinema right at the campsite entrance is particularly popular with children. Conclusion: If you love peace and quiet and don't want to pay hotel room prices for your tent, caravan or mobile home, this is the place for you.

Very good value for money. Very nice groundsman, natural, friendly and helpful. Plenty of space on a lush green lawn with free choice of pitch. Very informal atmosphere overall. Modern and clean sanitary facilities. Showers are free, which is very good as the bathing area is approx. 300 m away. Special feature: there is a small village cinema directly in front of the site.

Conclusion: if you can live with simple facilities and are usually out and about during the day anyway, you'll find everything you need here. Details: A manageable site with simple facilities, no fixed pitches and friendly staff. Still located on the mainland, it offers quick access to Darß and Zingst... with the open coast. For a quick dip in between, we recommend the small but tidy bathing area on the Bodden near the harbor (approx. 500 m from the site). In the afternoon, the small cinema directly in front of the campsite attracts visitors with a very varied range of films suitable for families. Overall a great price/performance ratio, we only paid around €20 per night for 2 adults and 4 children (2 of whom were still very small) and showers, electricity etc. were also included. For the daily supply with everything you need, we recommend the town of Barth, 6km away. There are also butchers, bakers and small but good restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
