- Beautiful surroundings - Relatively large pitches - usually quiet - nearby swimming pool

- Sanitary areas partly very dirty - Showering is only possible with 50-cent coins, with no remaining time displayed and hot and cold water is simply turned off completely - Lighting in the sanitary area is controlled by a few motion detectors that switch off after 3 minutes, which means that you sit or shower in the dark because no motion detector is triggered. - Sink area looks dirty, there is only hot water at 2 sinks, no light - No shopping facilities, no bread roll service - no waste separation, there are two containers, which are far from sufficient when emptied weekly - Electrical safety does not seem trustworthy
Beautiful landscape, poor infrastructure
We stayed on the pitch for a week. The pitch was big enough for a caravan and a car. The tourist pitches are separated by hedges and small trees. The site and the surrounding landscape are attractive.

The pitch number was no longer legible, which is why we promptly photographed the wrong meter reading.... The electricity consumption was estimated during billing. The meter box was sitting on the floor, the door could not be closed, everything looked damp.

There are no shopping facilities on the site, the nearest market is approx. 3 km away.

The sanitary area is either rarely cleaned or only very superficially.

We are not planning another visit.

When we were there, there were very few children.
Fine, quiet camping spot
A nice, nicely located campground. Very simple, but that's what we were looking for.

Unfortunately somewhat neglected
The site has a wonderful location, is extremely quiet and has a, shall we say, ramshackle charm.

Idyllic spot on the edge of the forest
The site is located right on the edge of the forest and next to the swimming pool. Some of the pitches are separated by hedges, so you can decide for yourself whether you prefer to be on your own or whether you want to connect with other campers. There is the right pitch size for every purpose. The permanent... campers are very helpful and every guest is warmly welcomed. Unfortunately, the site is a little outdated, but the groundsman and his team make every effort to make every guest as comfortable as possible. Children and pets are also welcome on the site. There are shops in the town center about 2 km away. The campsite is a good starting point for excursions in the surrounding area, e.g. to Saarlouis with its beautiful old town, the Saarschleife near Mettlach and the Saarpolygon on the slag heap in Ensdorf with a beautiful view as far as France. As the site is in a very quiet location, you are reliant on your own vehicle, as local public transport leaves something to be desired. To sum up, the site is suitable for families as well as individual campers and offers a wide range of leisure activities.
