If you book early enough, there’s even a designated plot available for larger tents. That gives you enough space for your car, the tent, and even a gazebo. The restroom facilities... are simply perfect and very nicely designed. We liked it so much that we’ve already booked our week there for the next two years, since the number of spots reserved exclusively for tents is limited. This campground is also primarily geared toward campers, camper vans, and RVs. The on-site service is great, and the staff are all very, very friendly. You absolutely must try the delicious fish sandwiches sold right at the beach entrance, and a visit to “Gerlando” is also well worth it. The convenience store right next to the main entrance at Norma is also great. The beach is very spacious and offers plenty of room for everyone. The location is great, and everything is within easy walking distance.

If we have any complaints, it’s that there aren’t enough places nearby to fill up on fresh water. But that’s just nitpicking. From check-in (check-in lane) to the front desk (friendly, pleasant staff; information about the entire facility)—all the way to being escorted to the site (tips on the best spot). Very well organized. As far as we could tell, the campsites... range in size from large to adequate. The restroom facilities (there are 3 buildings) are a real eye-catcher. Each building features different sculptures, and both the exterior and interior are kept clean on a regular basis. All in all, it deserves its 5 stars. The location and facilities here are almost unbeatable. You’ll find everything a camper could want. From every site, you can access the various beach sections through several exits (access card required). There’s also a dog-friendly... beach right nearby. The town, with its promenade and plenty of shopping options (restaurants, stores, cafes, discount stores, a pharmacy, doctors…), is just a few minutes’ walk away. A Norma supermarket is located right next to the campground; you can reach it very quickly and easily through a gate (access card). There are two restaurants right on the campground. The Italian restaurant “Da Gerlando” comes highly recommended (they also offer takeout pizza). We’ve never visited “Toplicht 54” in all the years we’ve been coming to Kübo, but I hear it’s supposed to be good (so they say…). There’s a great playground for the kids. The restroom facilities are truly amazing. They’re cleaned regularly (by cleaning crews) and everything is spotless. There are 3 restroom buildings. Of course, each one has: a dishwashing area, a laundry room with washing machines, a dog shower, a toilet cassette drain, an accessible restroom, a kids’ shower/bath, and rental bathrooms....). There’s also a sauna in the wellness area. We feel right at home there and keep coming back. Now I’m going to nitpick a little—but on a very minor level. Actually, it’s just a note/request/recommendation: There are already plenty of paved sites, but unfortunately, the expansion of the unpaved sites is moving very slowly, even though it’s urgently needed in some areas. Our spot has a sand and grass surface, which isn’t always pleasant. The operator really needs to take action in this area, since the site fees are barely any different—if at all—from those of the perfectly paved spots. On some sites, you can expect bird droppings and tree sap. Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do about that… we’re campers and love nature (but having to clean the vehicle daily of aggressive bird droppings isn’t exactly fun either). My personal feeling/annoyance: The new faucet system in the restroom areas is the worst thing ever, and many other users confirmed this to me without us even having spoken… just by using them. The combination units (running water, hand dryer) aren’t ideal to use. Very little water comes out, the thing often starts blowing air too early, the soap gets blown into your face (and eyes), and it blows the water—or the water and soap mixture—from your hand onto your clothes.......So: I wasn’t the only one who felt this way, but I’m probably the only one speaking up: These things are CRAP!!!!
I could have kept this complaint to myself, but then the operator wouldn’t be able to make any improvements.

I would suggest banning e-scooters. The size of the campsites varies, and staff ask about your needs thoroughly, so the site we were assigned was a good fit. The on-site electricity and water hookups are excellent. The supply and... disposal facilities for RVs made a good impression. The open layout of the campsites, spread across different sections and levels, is beautifully designed and very well maintained. The restroom facilities are spacious, well-maintained, and clean. The supply of fresh bread rolls and pastries is very well organized. Shopping options are available at the nearby supermarket. Anyone looking to eat out is sure to find something to their liking at the two on-site restaurants. Entertainment and activity programs are available and very diverse.
