Great campground
We were actually only here because of Obelink. But the campground deserves a mention. It’s a very well-maintained and beautifully landscaped place. The size of the site was huge. The small swimming pool is also a great place to relax a bit in the evening. We were the only ones in the pool at the time. There’s also a small shop for bread rolls and snacks, as well as a place to grab a bite to eat. We’d love to come back!!!

Great 👍🏼 for a short trip
We’ve settled in really well! Our 140-square-meter site was a corner spot—perfect for our two German Shepherds! Electricity, water, and sewage were all included, and the Wi-Fi was even great for streaming! The antenna worked too. It was just a short walk to the super-clean restrooms! And the surrounding... area had a lot to offer! We went on some great hikes!
Since we were really lucky with the weather again, we were also able to try out the slide at the outdoor pool 🤪
The rolls and croissants 🥐 were also good, and the service was very friendly!
Smooth check-in thanks to pre-registration
Since it’s such a short drive for us, we’ll definitely be back

only three sanitary buildings
Obelink is close
We spent two nights from 22.09. to 24.09. as guests of the Vreehorst campsite/motorhome site.
From the campsite you can walk to Obelink in about 30 minutes.
The sanitary facilities were always clean during our stay, there is a great restaurant, great large pitches and the campsite has friendly staff. We liked it so much that we will probably come back again.

Quiet place, surrounded by nature
Beautiful campsite in the countryside, yet not far from Winterswijk or Obelink. The comfort pitches were nice and large. Sufficient sanitary facilities and always clean, even when the site was almost full. Nice bike tours can be made from the site. WLAN is free and works. There is a store with the essentials... and fresh bread rolls in the morning. The pizza in the restaurant was also good.
Nice indoor pool and outdoor pool, but the indoor pool was occupied almost every lunchtime by swimming courses, so that only a third of the pool was free for the camping guests.
The site is beautifully designed and the night's rest was respected.

Positiivsed
the location, the separate bathroom, the peace and quiet, the leisure facilities in general such as playgrounds and the swimming pool
Negatiivsed
the price
Great place
The site is in a very nice location. Despite the fact that it is very large and quickly gets full on holidays and the like, you still have peace and quiet. This site is very nice for families, it offers everything. There are plenty of playgrounds and a swimming pool. I can also go on very good cycling... or hiking tours here.
I think the prices are a bit high. We had a separate bathroom, but the price was still quite high. You can now get a good vacation apartment with heating and co. for the price. As a tip, if you travel in the fall/winter and book a separate bathroom, take a fan heater with you. These bathrooms are not heated.

Room for improvement online
A large campsite that probably also benefits a little from its proximity to Obelink. But this is only because of campers like us. We were looking for a place to spend the night after visiting the camping equipment distributor and found it here and booked it online. And from the moment we arrived and... inspected the site, we had a completely different opinion. The site operator is full of ideas to make this site appear special. There is space for all campers, no matter what they are traveling with. There is an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor pool, accommodation from normal to special, an adjoining store with the essentials and lots of land and water. Just walking around the campsite is fun and there are interesting things to see everywhere. The only negative point is that the online allocation of pitches needs to be checked. We reserved a pitch online. After our reservation, the online tool said that everything was full. However, this was not the case during our visit. On the other hand, unbooked visitors were still warmly welcomed. I don't begrudge them that, but I don't understand why the pitches in particular were shown as fully booked and then 3 pitches were free all night? We wanted to arrive with 2 motorhomes. And remember, camper van drivers greet each other.

Positiivsed
Reception very friendly. Simple booking system.
Negatiivsed
-The full rental amount is required in advance. -Rented bathroom without heating and without toilet paper -many power failures, mostly no 230 volts -When it rains only MATCH -swimming pool too cold -The store is extremely expensive, lousy sandwiches -groundsman needs further training -in the rear area of the pitch, the track is clearly audible even at night. -no waste water on the pitch
Lots of mud, little power
We were on a comfort pitch with our own bathroom. However, when it rains (and we had a lot of it), the whole pitch turns into a muddy mess. The separate bathroom is very large. However, it has no heating and no windows. If you're on vacation there in October like we were, it can get pretty cold. Fortunately,... we had a fan heater with us. However, we had a lot of stress with power cuts and for most of the week we only had about 190 volts from the socket. Which caused our fridge to constantly warn us. Very annoying. Especially as the groundsman said to our neighbor: "Why do you want to heat at night, you should sleep there." He could definitely do with some training in dealing with customers and his own prices. He didn't know the surcharge from 10 to 16 amps. It's not on the internet either. There was no toilet paper for the rented bathroom either. The reception just said: You can buy it here in the store. In addition to the completely overpriced bread rolls. The water in the free swimming pool could have been 2-3 degrees warmer. We will NOT be back.

Pool very cold, food and drinks very expensive
Great place
The ladies at reception are all very nice and friendly!
The pitches are very spacious and there are small play areas all over the site, as well as a large playground. The campsite is really beautiful and well maintained.
The sanitary facilities were generally clean.
The bathroom is small but nice. Water... could be a bit warmer.
There are plenty of shops in the town, and a very nice pedestrian area for shopping
We found the price-performance ratio too high.

Very muddy pitches due to rain
Camping in the mud
The pitch was very soggy due to the rain over the past few weeks. As soon as we arrived, we needed help to get the caravan onto the pitch.
Unfortunately, the campsite couldn't provide us with any boards or pallets so that we didn't have to walk through the mud all the time. We had to get creative ourselves.... Fortunately, Obelink is not far away. Otherwise the mud would have run into our shoes upstairs.
Now for something positive:
The indoor swimming pool on the site is great.
The sanitary facilities were always clean and were cleaned regularly.
The caravan was pulled off the pitch with the tractor.

Spacious pitches with private sanitary facilities Beautifully situated

muddy pitches when it rains a lot no heating in the private sanitary facilities
Nice campsite with minor flaws
The campsite is in a very nice location. The pitches are very spacious. We thought it was good to be able to book a pitch with private sanitary facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a small indoor pool which can be used free of charge.
Since our pitch felt like it was swimming,... we couldn't get our caravan out ourselves. There we got help from the staff who pulled us out with a wheel loader.

The pitch was so muddy and so devastated by the previous owner that we couldn't get our caravan there by car and the whole pitch was under water. The staff should check how the pitch looks before the pitch is rented out again.
The private sanitary building unfortunately has no heating, which could be quite chilly in November. Thank goodness we had a heater with us. There are only garbage cans at the entrance.

Top place
A beautifully maintained site that stands out not only because of its proximity to Obelink (which is very obvious). Very spacious pitches (comfort pitch) where I felt I could have set up 2 caravans. The site was great, as were the swimming pool and playground. The play area right next to the pitch was a bit lacking. Children happy, dog happy and so were we.

The sanitary facilities are unfortunately not ideal. As far as cleanliness is concerned, everything is top👍 Personally, I was bothered by the dark-tinted mirrors and the lighting from above and behind 🤔 When I go to the toilet in the morning, I want to be able to look at myself in the light and not through sunglasses 😎 In warm weather, the sanitary facilities are very hot due to the glass roof, a better air supply would be ideal here. The prices are still okay, but you can do better.

Positiivsed
Very friendly, uncomplicated reception.
Negatiivsed
There is not even toilet paper in the private sanitary facilities. But much worse, there is no heating. At an outside temperature of 4 degrees morning shower is very unpleasant. The access area to the pitch is hardly or not at all passable due to heavy rain. There is no drainage layer. Only after three days were makeshift steel plates laid. We left early because we caught a cold from the cold and constant humidity in our private sanitary facilities.
DISAPPOINTING
Furthermore, we cannot give any ratings as we did not use the facilities.

Nice place for a few days
Very friendly welcome, clean and modern sanitary facilities. Small indoor pool (enough for me). Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the winter break. Nevertheless, the site is recommended for a visit to the big O. or for cycling tours.

Very nice place and very friendly people at the reception.
Negatiivsed
No toilet paper in the private bathroom. Space is available from 12.30, but the key for the private bathroom can only be picked up at 15.00. Free wifi is advertised, but the reception is more than poor. None of this is dramatic, but at the price (almost €60 per night/ camper van/ 2 people & dog/ tourist tax) we would have expected more.
Caming Vreehorst
The site is well located for cycling tours and shopping at Obelink. It is very nicely divided into smaller individual areas.

The campsite is close to the city, the pitches are large and easily accessible, family-friendly, small indoor and outdoor pool, clean and well-kept sanitary facilities. We are delighted and will definitely be back.

Nice place
We only stayed here for one night when we were shopping at oberlink. The site is perfect for this. We checked in online and were able to simply park on the motorhome site. Everything was very straightforward. In summer it's definitely very nice with the great swimming pool outside and inside.
