Dani (the tenant) smiles and immediately joins me in the search for a suitable spot—unfortunately, we can’t find anything suitable there. They immediately start looking for... another option and offer me a gazebo that’s used for garden furniture; they say it’s no problem to clear it out and make room for my sleeping spot. Of course, a friendly fellow camper from next door comes over right away to help clear the space so I can set up my hammock. Such spontaneous hospitality and willingness to help are probably quite rare these days, so I can highly recommend this place. Small menu in the restaurant, quality of the food is good. Beautiful hike into the Viamala gorge. No direct shopping facilities on site. Post bus stop directly in front of the campsite. We received a very friendly and helpful welcome. In addition to lots of permanent campers, it was also hunting season. This led to some fun but consistently positive encounters.
