The restrooms were always very clean. There’s a small restaurant with good food and very friendly staff. The direct access to the water is also nice. The campground is in a great location right on the lake. There are endless recreational opportunities, and you’re guaranteed never to get bored (hiking, biking, swimming, SUP, kayaking on the lake and on the nearby Drau River, or simply going... out for a delicious meal). The campground is very well-maintained, and the restrooms are spotless. There’s always toilet paper and paper towels available, and hand sanitizer for the toilet seat in every stall. We especially like the location and the surroundings, which offer a wide range of recreational activities. It’s a great starting point... for bike rides, hikes, or swimming. The restroom facilities are very clean, in good condition, and plentiful. But we knew that already.A really nice vacationAs already mentioned in the “Pros” section, everything was great—the owners, the location, just everything.
The campground is laid out in terraces. You either have to walk up the hill to flush the toilet, etc., or, if you’re at the top, you have to walk up from the lake. We were in the third row. Perfect for SUP. I wouldn’t have wanted to carry it all the way up 😅

The view to the west from the lakeshore—taking in the lake, Kreuzeck, Reißeck, and the Hohe Tauern (?)—is sensational, especially in the evening.NegatiivsedTo be honest, we can't think of anything worth mentioning. Even the campers were, on average, nicer than elsewhere :-)No exaggeration: A truly fantastic campgroundThis is the second time we’ve camped here, and we hope to do so many more times.
We’ve been to quite a few nice campgrounds, but when it comes to services, hospitality, and perfect organization, this campground is unbeatable.
There’s a wide variety of amenities that aren’t always a given
amenities (washing... machine, dryer, freezer, rental fridge, nice restaurant, bread roll service, all kinds of chilled treats from the vending machine,
beach shower, excellent dishwashing facilities, private washrooms ...)
And everything is super clean and well-maintained!
A little side note that underscores the warmth of this business:
We witnessed two birthday celebrants who were overjoyed and surprised to
receive a bottle of Piccolo sparkling wine for their birthdays :-)
Jogging: after a 10-minute climb, a beautiful, almost flat running route through the forest above the lake!!
