After we unfortunately had to postpone our vacation in early summer due to illness, we were here for the first time in October.
It was a little quieter for the time of year and the place was emptier, but that's sometimes quite pleasant.
The staff were... all very friendly and the whole site was always clean.
If you're looking for all-round relaxation, you're in the wrong place here, but there are pitches right on the Ems, a nearby swimming pool and the center of Meppen, which is within walking distance.

I found the new mobile homes unpleasant, the old ones had a nicer interior layout and storage space.
