Mold, rudeness, etc.
Dirty, Mold
We are really disappointed and, to be honest, pretty upset about our stay. The restrooms were just filthy, and in some places there was even mold. And the worst part: even after they were cleaned, they still weren’t properly clean. We find this completely incomprehensible, and it’s absolutely unacceptable... for a campground.

We filed a complaint and hoped the problem would be taken seriously. Unfortunately, our complaints were simply brushed off. Instead of addressing the issue, we got the feeling that nobody really cared. They advertise that they’ve renovated and that everything is clean—but that was definitely not the case!! They supposedly claim you can’t find a campground without mold… that’s news to me!

Clean and hygienic restroom facilities are the absolute minimum for us. After this experience, we definitely cannot recommend this campground and will certainly not be returning.

Positiivsed
Location (hiking, biking, water sports, excursions) Cleanliness (bathrooms and campground) Friendliness (reception and campground operator) Child-friendly (playground and petting zoo) Right on the stream with a small swimming area Amenities On-site restaurant
Negatiivsed
You can hear the street easily
A small, charming square
A small, charming campground surrounded by nature. If you want to hike, bike, or swim, this is the place for you. There’s a “good old Bavarian” restaurant on site, and if you need anything, you can buy small items right there.
It’s a 20-minute walk to the lake or to town.
It’s ideal for day trips to... Lake Chiemsee, Rosenheim, and Walchsee. If you’re willing to drive a bit farther, you can also visit Munich or Salzburg.
You can also rent sleeping barrels and cabins at reasonable prices (>65 €).
The prices and amenities are more than fair for campers who want to camp rather than “glamp.”
We’d love to come back—we’ll definitely be repeat visitors.

Site Layout and Parking Spaces Friendliness Cleanliness A stream right next to the campsite with a swimming area and a small beach Peace and quiet Customized parking space layout for everyone (RV, tent, trailer) The campground has naturally evolved over the years Standard prices for regular campers
Negatiivsed
During the day, you sometimes hear about enthusiastic motorcyclists from the street
A Nature-Friendly Spot for Relaxing Camping
We found out about this hidden gem through friends. They’ve been coming here regularly since 2015 and say the campground is constantly improving.
You can tell that the campground is improving year after year. The reception staff is very friendly and tries to accommodate “almost” every request. Clean... restroom facilities. The campground is well-maintained, and the amenities are reasonable for this price (€45 for a camper, 2 people, and a dog) in this region. We had a site by the stream, right next to the “small” beach and swimming area. The Alpenhof lives up to its name—Bavarian cuisine.
Fantastic! An ideal starting point for hiking and biking tours. Lake Wössener is a leisurely 20-minute walk away. Here you can swim, paddle, and enjoy good food and drinks at the restaurant.
There’s a playground and petting zoo for kids, a small kiosk for all your essentials, and food vending machines in case you forgot to pick up sausages at the butcher’s.
What I also find great is that there are designated spots for every type of guest (tent campers, RVs, trailers, day visitors). I think the solution with the short-term spots for €25 before the gate is great, because it minimizes traffic on the grounds and allows travelers to check in and out quickly.
Conclusion:
A lovely, well-thought-out concept for campers like us.

Ideal starting point for hikers and cyclists Friendly reception Water at the pitch Great hygiene concept in the sanitary facilities (disinfectant for the toilet is always great) Restaurant next door Only discreetly lit at night Good price-performance ratio
Negatiivsed
Reception is not for late risers (tiny disadvantage)
Great campsite
I had lost my car key. It was actually handed in and sent to me without me having to ask - thank you very much!
I had to leave privately a day earlier than booked. That was no problem at all.

Positiivsed
Good stopover to the south to get through toll-free.
Negatiivsed
Noisy due to road and too many dogs
Good transit area with potential for improvement
The site is ideal for a stopover to the south. Unfortunately, as is the case everywhere now, there are a lot of dogs out and about, which are of course allowed to read and mark everywhere. Accordingly, it stinks everywhere. The site is also very outdated from the connection side, but all in all, okay for a few days. Catering in the restaurant good and reasonably priced.

Once and never again
On the internet everything looks great, we called because we wanted to spend 4 days there to relax, use the sauna and whirlpool and enjoy some nice hours in the restaurant on site. The lady said we were welcome to come. So nothing like going there, on arrival first discovery, restaurant closed until... 23.12., same for campsite but reception still open daily from 9-10h. Everything is totally unclean and unkempt. As much as is in the garbage cans is also in front of the garbage cans. Also in the adjacent stream. Sanitary 1 house closed 1 house open but everything not properly clean, very old. According to the Internet shower 10 minutes 50 cents, but it is only 7 minutes, light in the shower cubicle is combined with the brand, so after 7 minutes you are in the dark or have to throw in. All rooms in the sanitary area too dark. Sauna and whirlpool tub not in operation. The whole place totally unkempt. Washing machines and dryers not exactly reliable due to age All the photos on the Internet are just embellished, that's a scam Conclusion 1 night and nothing like away there! Price: Gifted = too expensive.

Positiivsed
Arrive when you want, as electricity and water are available outside. Free bathing lake nearby, restaurant on site.
Negatiivsed
The only drawback was that the washing machines and dryers were not in good technical condition (no complete pumping)
Price performance fits
We came as a couple with 2 small children and had a great time in Litzelau for 10 days. The pitch is ok for the price and clean. The sanitary facilities are no longer up to date, but they are clean and serve their purpose. The WLAN is fast, but costs extra (10 euros for 7 days, for the first and another... 5 euros for each additional one). There are enough shopping facilities (Penny and beverage market about 2 minutes by car, Edeka in 5 minutes). A free swimming lake is approx. 15 minutes' walk away.

No bread roll service.
Pleasant place, with sauna, unfortunately no bread rolls
The site has a pleasant atmosphere, despite many permanent campers. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Hot water is only available with coins, but the site is very reasonably priced. The sauna area was clean, well heated and equipped. A small store on site or a bread roll service is missing!

Very good starting point
The beautiful place is a very good starting point for hiking and cycling, despite the road that passes some distance away, we found it pleasantly quiet, annoying is the lukewarm to cold water when flushing at some times of the day.

Clean, large sanitary facilities. Beautiful location.
Negatiivsed
Playground totally run down.
Playground in disrepair, petting zoo no longer exists
The campsite is beautifully situated, the owners are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean, and we didn't find the often criticized coin-operated machines too bad. On the other hand, the playground is overgrown and in a state of disrepair, there are even broken pieces... lying around. The "petting zoo" apparently no longer exists, there are only a few empty, rotten cages left. It's all right if a campsite doesn't have a playground - but if it's advertised in such a big way, then this state of affairs is simply unacceptable. Garbage is piled up in the ponds, where ducks used to live, and the barbecue hut (actually a great facility) is also in a rather deplorable state. A strange contrast, because the rest, as I said, makes a very well-kept impression. The shortcomings could be quickly rectified with relatively little effort.

is very centrally located. You can visit the whole of Upper Bavaria! One vacation is not enough - we will be back :-)
Wonderfully relaxed!
Very informal and natural campsite. Without much around it - but everything you need is there! Good value for money! Very clean!

Shade; unkempt tourist sites and paths
Fall vacation 2014
Inquiry in 2013 - friendly information - detailed brochure by post - vacation 1 year later - arrival somewhat awkward, as Sundays are officially closed. But it worked out. We were disturbed by the many dogs on the site. The owner's dogs also ran around the site and did their business without anyone taking... care of them. We would have liked to have a bread service (ggfls.mit newspaper.), Since the bakery was only after about 15 Min.Fußmarsch reachable. Who wanted bread rolls in the morning, so had to use the car, or if available, the bike. The sanitary facilities were kept very clean (except on Sundays). Showering was annoying as the light in the dark cubicles was linked to the running time of the water. So if you showered until the end, you had to dry off and get dressed in the dark. There were also no separate enclosed washing cubicles. The condition of the access/entry area is very much in need of repair: lots of potholes. There were also open patches on the paths on the pitch. At the impulse system to the entrance barrier is a poster stand with a cracked glass pane (risk of injury), which is certainly a few months old. The restaurant is highly recommended. Overall, we had the impression that no great importance is attached to tourist campers. The main business is with the permanent campers, who probably make the better money with their elaborate wooden structures on their caravans. All in all, we were satisfied. However, we will not be planning another visit.

Good place with beautiful surroundings
Wonderful place, very quiet, very reasonably priced with loving family management! Perfect starting point for many tours on foot or by bike! The place should be maintained more. The sanitary facilities are too dark and the showers are really annoying, the machines are in front of the shower!

The sanitary facilities were not heated, despite the cold and rainy weather. You need shower tokens which have to be inserted outside. The whole sanitary facilities are very dark despite the light

We have been guests here for 14 days at a time for three years in a row now. The site is in a very nice location, but depending on the pitch, the road can be heard more or less clearly during the day. We were right next to the river, so the sound of the water was louder than the road. The sanitary facilities... are clean. The bakery in Oberwössen can be reached by bike in 7 minutes and offers a great selection of delicious bread rolls. This year the WLAN was in operation for the first time (chargeable).
