Camping L'Escale Ülevaated

Very pleasant campsite in the pretty village of Le Grand Bornand, clean despite the bad manners of some people (kudos to the cleaning team). We recommend it.

It's a pity that the restaurant no longer offers takeaway pizza after 7pm (we might as well not offer this service).

the only downside is the totally insufficient amperage 3 amps it's as if we had nothing even a coffee machine doesn't work

The welcome, facilities and maintenance are perfect. The campsite's location in the heart of the village and close to the slopes is a real plus.

We like the campsite's location, the fact that we can drop off our skis and ski boots in specially adapted premises, the friendly staff, the farm inside the campsite with its exceptional cheeses, and the small toboggan run.

Something really needs to be done about the pool: we've been coming here for 3 years and this year we only went once. The floor is in a deplorable state, and we had to wash our feet in the sinks just after showering because it was so muddy and salty. Only 2 showers were hot, and even then they alternated between hot and cold from time to time. In other years, most were hot. And for me, the water temperature is too cold. Still, it was nice to be able to relax a bit in the pool after skiing...

This is our 4th time staying here and will definitely be back. Facilities are excellent, showers and toilets always clean and warm. Very welcoming reception and always there to help if needed. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
