What a wonderful review! A huge thank you for this sunny feedback following your stay!
It’s a real pleasure to read that you enjoyed the peaceful, rustic atmosphere of our campground. Our wooded setting and unique accommodations are indeed part of Les Mizottes’ identity, and we’re proud... to offer this variety to our guests.
I’m particularly happy that our team’s responsiveness and availability were noticed. This close connection with our guests is at the heart of our family-run approach, and knowing that we were able to support you during your stay warms our hearts.
Your PREMIUM mobile home clearly met your expectations with its generous space, air conditioning, and optimal comfort. These amenities are designed so that you can fully enjoy your getaway in the Vendée. Our location in the Vendée countryside can sometimes affect the quality of the TV signal, but we’re committed to improving this service.
We would be delighted to welcome you back to Les Mizottes for another rejuvenating vacation on the southern Vendée coast!

We paid a 20-euro booking fee for a night that should have cost 40, because we were never able to reach them. During the night, a fight broke out with loud noises, and music from the campground neighbors played until 4 a.m. When I mentioned this to the woman at the front desk the next day, she laughed and said, “Why am I never around when the good stuff happens?” Also, the liner in the indoor pool was torn. Comfortable beddingAutomaatselt tõlgitud.Vastas Camping Les Mizottes 1. september 2026Hello Audrey,
It’s nice to hear that your Cabane Pilotis, with its comfortable bedding, as well as our wooded setting, contributed positively to your stay at Les Mizottes. This accommodation is, in fact, appreciated for the unique experience it offers.
However, I am sincerely sorry that the welcome... you received did not meet our standards. Our team is known for its friendliness and professionalism. I will therefore make sure to remind everyone of the importance of providing clear and complete information upon arrival.
Regarding the booking fees, these are specified in our General Terms and Conditions of Sale and apply to all reservations, regardless of the booking channel used.
The tranquility of the property and the well-being of our guests are among our top priorities. Our staff pays close attention to this and is always available to address any issues as soon as they are reported to us. Our indoor pool is also regularly maintained and inspected to ensure safe and comfortable swimming conditions. Some signs of wear and tear may naturally appear over the course of the season without compromising the safety of the facilities.
Finally, our 4-star rating is based on specific official criteria regarding our facilities, services, and on-site amenities.
I therefore regret that, despite the quality of your accommodations and the charm of our surroundings, you are leaving with such a mixed impression of our family-run establishment.

Thank you for choosing Les Mizottes for your stay in Saint-Michel-en-l'Herm.
I’m delighted that you were satisfied with your Lodg'Yssée and its amenities and facilities—which are listed online and designed with your comfort in mind. I hope the peaceful setting of our property also... contributed to your relaxing stay in the Vendée.
I understand your disappointment at not being able to enjoy our pools during your stay. The opening hours are set to ensure proper maintenance and to guarantee peace and quiet for our guests.
Regarding the payment, I apologize for the confusion at the front desk.
I hope your exploration of the Southern Vendée Coast has left you with fond memories. I would be delighted to welcome you again, perhaps at one of our other accommodations?

I’m relieved to read that you at least appreciated the kindness of our team and that you enjoyed our evening activities. These are two cornerstones of the friendly atmosphere we foster at Les Mizottes.
However, I’m very surprised by several of your comments. As the manager, I’m on-site... all day, and I make it a point of honor to get to know our guests. That’s at the heart of our family-run business.
The tranquility of our campground is essential, but it coexists with the joy of children enjoying their vacations. It’s this lively yet safe atmosphere that families come to us for. Our team ensures that the rules of communal living are followed for everyone’s well-being.
Regarding our facilities, one of our two restroom buildings may be closed occasionally for maintenance. As for the upkeep of the campsites, which range in size from 80 to 190 m², we strive to strike a balance between cleanliness and the natural setting. In addition to the information available online, we’re always here to advise you and provide details about the services available—or those that aren’t, such as waste disposal areas.
I realize that your perception is very different from the experience typically had at our campground, and I regret that.

We’re sorry to read your feedback here following your stay—especially since you seem to have enjoyed your nights in your Cabane Pilotis.
Please note, however, that our rates are set in accordance with our 4-star rating and the season. This rating, assessed by independent organizations,... reflects the quality of our services and our surroundings: a wooded, intimate setting, high-quality accommodations, and access to two aquatic areas, including an indoor pool heated to 29°.
I am, however, surprised by your comment regarding cleanliness. This is an area where we are particularly vigilant, and you should not have hesitated to contact us as soon as you arrived; our team would have addressed the issue immediately.
Regarding our facilities, the maintenance of our indoor pool is closely monitored to ensure a comfortable swimming experience. As for our bar, it’s a dining area with hours designed to accommodate as many guests as possible, offering both lunch and dinner service.
I hope that the peaceful atmosphere of our campground and our warm hospitality have nonetheless left you with a soothing memory of your stay in the Vendée.
