Camping Ushuaïa Villages Le Viaduc Ülevaated

I loved everything about it: the warm welcome from the hosts, who were adorable, the beauty of the place, the cleanliness, the peace and quiet, and the food. Ideal for recharging your batteries. Two weeks that went by too quickly. Dogs are welcome, and mine, Patapouf, loved the almost daily swims.

I had a great stay, everything was top notch, small flaw: it's too far from my home to come back every month.

The staff were super friendly. The campsite was nicely laid out and the pitches were a good size. The food at the restaurant was great quality and pretty good value. The toilet block was kept clean and tidy.

Sometimes the water in the showers didn't run at all and sometimes it only ran for a few seconds. That could be improved. The river level was low (again not your fault), but not great for swimming.

A very good stay in a very pleasant campsite! The staff are professional and incredibly friendly!

Relax!

A little more pressure for the showers when everyone's using them ...

Our boys played endlessly in the river; making dams, catching frogs, fishing. Kid-friendly campground with spacious sites, shaded. Plenty of playtime for our boys of 5 and 7. The trampoline was big favorite. A nice restaurant with good food on site and good sandwich service.

We had a pleasant, quiet stay. Both owner and staff were very welcoming and always smiling. The yurt was very clean and the bedding comfortable. Sanitary facilities available.

The campground is beautifully situated, several accesses to the river. Nice rental accommodations and spacious pitches. Plumbing basic, but fine. The bread service was very convenient because you are a 15-minute drive from the nearest store. We had a great time.

The very friendly atmosphere on the campsite, the various beautiful and playful accommodations, combined with beautiful camping spots. The tremendous hospitality and personal approach of the campground owner and staff. The relaxing and restful atmosphere on the campsite. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant. Further beautiful surroundings. Enough to do or see. Often a short drive. Beautifully situated next to the river. Ample opportunities to relax, play etc. River offers adult swimming opportunities in some places, but is often too shallow to really swim in.

Regarding the campground, I have no recommendations for improvement. The only thing: since the supermarket in Lamastre is about 20 to 25 minutes away, perhaps the campsite could offer a slightly wider range of items for sale (e.g. bottles of water, and other things you might need). Or maybe 1 or 2 x per week a stall of a local vendor with vegetables/fruit

It is a quiet and cozy small family campground, with very good service. It was nice that we could bring our dog.

Improve the shower water flow, when several people shower there is almost no jet and you have to press often. Motion sensor on the toilet for lighting, is very dark at night.

Petanque court (perhaps elsewhere than in the middle of the playground), Teflon-coated frying pan to be changed (carcinogenic. Word to holidaymakers not to use metal cutlery in the frying pan), yurt insulation to darken.

Tranquility, beautiful surroundings, nature, space, atmospheric

Some Urinals by the toilets would be a good addition for a quick pee-stop. Then the colored seat-glasses would also probably stay clean of drips longer since no one removes them when peeing. Shower jet very bad when more people shower at the same time. I can't even stand under it then because the jet flows tightly down the wall and stays on for less than 5 seconds because you have to press the button again.

Great located quiet campsite at the bottom of the valley of the Doux where we spent several wonderful days. Very hospitable owners, everything in great order! Beautiful spacious places.
