Beautifully situated, wooded, quiet, familiar, directly on the river Drac, at the entrance to Pont du Fossé (1,100 m above sea level), approx. 25 km from Gap, ideal for hikes in the Parc des Ecrins. Acceptable shopping facilities in the village (10 min walk) with restaurants, bike and hiking equipment,... tourist information, larger supermarkets can be found in Gap. The mobile homes are well-kept and well-equipped, the sanitary facilities are clean and the site is well-maintained. On site: mini golf course, climbing wall, table tennis, everyday items at fair prices. Ingenious: the small pond with crystal-clear water on the site, where you can fish for trout for €10. If you're not lucky, the owner will get you a landing net full of fish. Barbecue rental. The landlord is a mountain guide and offers free guided hikes into the mountains to remote corners (join in!). He also secures climbers on his climbing wall once a week. The landlord and landlady are child-friendly. You can buy snacks, wine etc. at their kiosk. There is a cheap bread service at the kiosk in the morning and you can order pizza directly from him, which he then picks up and delivers directly to the village free of charge. The pizza van is also on site at the campsite once a week. The site is not overcrowded, mainly frequented by French families. What we liked the most: The friendliness and warmth of the campsite owners, always pleasant and concerned about the well-being of their guests. You always have the feeling that you are welcome.
