We stopped in Salavas for two nights and loved the location, the warm welcome, the clean restrooms, the Ardèche River with its beach right at the campground, and the peaceful atmosphere. I recommend it.

Very nice, quiet, with lovely, shady campsites. Everything is close by.

This campground is pleasant, friendly, relaxing, welcoming, and lush with greenery. It’s kept in excellent condition by Alain and his team. Plus, it’s ideally located. It was a real pleasure to spend our vacation there.

As always, a warm welcome. The accommodations were very well-equipped. The cove with its sandy beach is perfect for swimming and canoeing. Everything was great! We’d love to come back anytime!

We only stayed one night, so we didn't have time to think of any areas for improvement. We loved everything.

Unfortunately, we were only there for one night... we would have loved to stay longer. The spot is beautifully shaded and right on the river... you practically walk down the hill and find yourself standing in the water.

French fries on a Friday would have made the whole thing absolutely great.

The Location and Staff

The campground is in a fantastic location. At the front desk, you’re greeted very warmly and professionally and given all the information you need. The restrooms and showers are very clean and exceptionally hygienic. Thank you so much for this wonderful stay.
