We were very pleasantly surprised
As our old campsite in Houlgate now had extremely poor ratings, we decided to go to "La Mer" because of its easy accessibility. We have not regretted it. It was really good. Large meadow without shade, large pitches. The location was unbeatable. The campsite is right on the secluded, kilometer-long sandy... beach. The owner was extremely nice. You felt welcome. The sanitary facilities are in a container. Toilets with toilet seats but no paper, good showers. Everything was perfectly clean. The showers are closed at 9pm. The campsite is also closed at 8 (!) pm. Cars can be parked in a small parking lot, then you can only get in on foot with a chip card. W-Lan cheap, worked well. No store. But we don't need one either. We shop in the supermarkets in Dives. Price surprisingly reasonable. We will definitely be back.
