I totally understand this but after a 6 hour drive through 3 countries, the last thing I want is to turn up & be turned away.awesome-othank you so much, think we ended up with the best (if not the last) spot. a cold beer to quench my thirst. what’s not to like?

We wanted to book online and were turned away due to overcrowding. But as we were already familiar with this, we arrived anyway and lo and behold, there was space not just for us. And we were given a friendly welcome, initiated and provided with tips and tricks for... a pleasant stay. The site and facilities are clean and well maintained. And just over 30 euros per night all inclusive is not excessive considering the proximity to Brussels and the fact that there are hardly any pitches here. Grimbergen also suffers from filles on local bicycle roads due to creeping traffic that cuts off freeways onto tourist roads (hystoric St. Servaas chapel in center on Spanish Linde= dangerous & extremely busy creeping traffic). Oder er an Campingwagen auch mitten in der Nacht hämmert und die Leute wach macht, die im städtischen Parkverbot... stehen. Darauf war er sehr stolz. Es müsste eben alles seine Ordnung haben. Da wir solche selbsternannten Scherriffs sehr unangenehm finden (die Geschichte hatte genug von solchen!), und sowas nicht unterstützen möchten, haben wir uns einen anderen Campingplatz gesucht, obwohl der Platz einen guten Eindruck machte.Ükski matkaja pole pidanud seda hinnangut veel kasulikuks. Although it is in a quiet location, it is still in the outskirts.
Unfortunately, there are no shops within walking distance, so you have to go by bike or plan to do your shopping beforehand.
The sanitary facilities were clean.

Bus to Brussels 300 meters away from the camping. Geert, de eigenaar verkoopt tickets voor de bus en geeft informatie. Very practical.

The place is very nice, the sanitary facilities clean. Only the unfriendliness was very annoying on both days. No matter what information you wanted you always had the feeling that you were disturbing because the TV program was more important. A pity as everything else was fine. Costs for bus 2 euros one way, we then switched to car and parking garage because parking in Brussels costs approx. 14 Euro for 12 hours, alternative by car to the Atomium (parking 6 Euro for the whole day) there is directly a stop of the Hop On Hop Of (2 lines through the whole of Brussels - 24 hours ticket for 2 adults and a child 65 Euro) Price: 27 Euro with caravan is fully in order Approach: via narrow streets (had a detour), access after a cemetery on the right side about 50 meters then comes the entrance to an outdoor pool on the right and is also the entrance to the CPAutomaatselt tõlgitud.1 matkaja leidis selle hinnangu olevat abistav.

The site makes a well-kept impression and the operator is busy maintaining the site during the day. It is quiet at night. Shopping approx. 1km by bike, so no problem. Ideal as a starting point for visiting Brussels.
