nice place
A lovely place that we stayed at for a long weekend in the fall. Everyone was very friendly and easygoing, from check-in to check-out. The restrooms were great and clean. Large campsites right on the Weser River. Ideal for biking. There are some nice little towns in the area.

A beautiful place
A beautiful, uncomplicated site on the Weser. Exceptionally quiet despite many camper vans and dogs. Outdoor pool next door included - and a nice & empty one too. infrastructure (wonderful village store that has everything, endless restaurants).

Great campsite
Clean sanitary facilities, great pitches directly on the Weser, outdoor pool is next to the square which is of course ideal for cooling off in summer. We have nothing to complain about this place 8⃣

Reception and staff very friendly. Everything was fine. The pitches are in good condition. The pitches right on the banks of the Weser are very nice. Everything is quiet at night. All in all, you can relax well here.
Negatiivsed
The sanitary building next to the reception should be put back into operation. It is partially closed.
Good with compromises
What we didn't like was a large youth fire brigade group.
In the (new) sanitary building they were shouting and screaming.
Toilets were partially destroyed, in short, hooliganism without limits. It's best never to let them on the pitch again.

Lots of help from Maximilian and family. Everything was soaked due to heavy rain. They immediately helped to pull the Womo/Wowa onto the pitch with the Tracktor and out again afterwards. We will be back

Great campsite directly on the Weser
Good campsite, beautiful location directly on the Weser. Even quiet at night, at least for the pitches on the Weser. Very friendly reception staff. The opening hours of reception (until 5pm) take some getting used to, as do the cleaning times for the sanitary blocks. But if you know it, you can adjust... to it.
The sanitary facilities are very clean. There is still room for improvement in the outdoor area.
Adequate number of showers and washing facilities, showers without coins or similar.
Well located, large pitches for caravans and motorhomes.
The pitches are mostly gravel, so be sure to bring special pegs!
If you have problems with wasps, you should pack appropriate scents etc. with you.
Kebab snack bar and restaurant directly opposite the reception. Good Greek (Delphi) and German restaurant (Cafee Scholle) also in the village.
Outdoor pool is included in the price. Bread roll service is offered, but there is also a small store 200 meters away where you can get pretty much everything. No children's entertainment, although we were there at the beginning of August - the peak vacation period. WiFi works reasonably well, but Netflix runs smoothly. As it was free, there's nothing to complain about here either.
Nice bike tours along the Weser possible.
Overall, I give the CP 3.5 stars. But it is absolutely recommendable and inexpensive. If you need more luxury, you should go somewhere else - but then you'll pay accordingly.

Very friendly staff and we were lucky to stand with our motorhome directly down along the Weser. The motorhome-only site is very small. You can go on lovely cycle tours from here.

Super nice welcome.
Nice large pitches for caravans and motorhomes, very good cycle paths and all nice and flat, virtually no mountains.
Kebab and restaurant directly opposite the reception.

Positiivsed
The tranquillity and closeness to nature at the campsite are excellent. With the motorhome you are in the first or second row directly on the Weser. Bread rolls are sold at the reception. Showers and toilets are included. 4 KW of electricity per day are included in the daily price. Sanitary facilities are clean and ok. Great restaurant (which we liked very much) directly on the site. A heated outdoor pool is right next to the site. The entrance fee is also included in the price.
Negatiivsed
The supply and disposal of the motorhome is a little sweaty, as there is only one central supply and disposal point.
Great campsite for motorhomes
A nice quiet campsite with lots of permanent campers, but that doesn't bother us in the slightest. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Very well-developed cycle paths for long and short tours. The price/performance ratio is excellent. We will definitely be back.

Very nice and quiet campsite
Despite Corona times, we felt very safe and very comfortable at the campsite. EVERYTHING was taken care of. The operator is very nice and helpful. There is also a delicious Greek restaurant in the village. The cycle paths around Gieselwerder on the Weser are very good and invite you to take a nice bike ride. We will definitely be back.

Camping site to relax
Very nice campsite directly on the still young Weser. Very nice staff, sanitary facilities always clean. Bread rolls at the reception. Snack bar and pizzeria (unfortunately under construction) on site. Nearby restaurants and grocery store. Fishing permit at the CP. Flat cycle paths along the Weser. W-Lan at the campsite a bit weak, at the reception top.

It was nice and quiet!
The sanitary facilities are a hodgepodge from past decades, but they were always clean! Very friendly groundsman, pizza and kebab next door and the outdoor pool right next door can be used free of charge. Conclusion: If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you.

Small but nice
I was on the site in May 2019, the registration is completely uncomplicated and the staff and the boss himself are super friendly, which is not a matter of course on every site. The sanitary facilities are partly a bit outdated, but partly already renewed and above all clean. Opposite the reception there... is great pizza and also kebab. 100 meters further, directly from the square to reach a restaurant with very good bourgeois cuisine and cafe. I think the location is great, right on the Weser. The pitches are large and the space for the awning is gravelled. Very good value for money. I would go there again.
