Very centrally located for day trips, e.g., to Corfu. The ferry departs from Saranda. It’s less than a 5-minute bike ride to the bustling town of Saranda. Everything you need is there—except for a grocery store.

A very friendly, helpful owner.
His wife runs the great beach bar, which also serves delicious food—and you can enjoy the stunning sunset while you're there.

Super location of the campsite, right by the sea and a river mouth, clean water and clean beach, very nice and helpful owners, great Greek around the corner, good connection by bike to the city (Saranda).
Negatiivsed
It doesn't exist if you see the price/performance ratio and are satisfied with a simple but wonderfully located pitch.
Feel-good place
Super location of the pitch directly on the beach and sea, next to the mouth of a freshwater river from the mountains. In October we had free choice of pitch. Beach loungers and parasols were available free of charge. The sanitary facilities were very basic but also very clean. Drinking water was available... from a separate tap. The owner of the campsite and his girlfriend were very friendly, helpful and had some good tips for us during our stay. Saranda is easy to reach and explore by bike from the campsite.

On the edge of town, quiet, very clean, good atmosphere and very friendly, hard-working operator. A freshwater river with ice-cold water from the mountains flows into the sea, exciting beach.
Negatiivsed
Everything you need was there, sometimes the bass from the beach bar was a bit loud. I would secure the edge of the pond even better for families with small children.
Making the best of it
The pitch was easy to find and we were pleased with the easy access. The pitch is equipped with electricity and service water and is large enough. Once you get used to the ground, the pitch is perfect. It is located directly on the beach facing the sea and on the edge of the freshwater pond, which forms... the end of a river before it runs into the sea. The pond is home to geese and ducks, really idyllic. The nearest markets are not far away and the Greek restaurant around the corner rounds off the offer.
The operator works around the clock, everything was always clean and well looked after. It is a relatively small site with a very informal atmosphere.
You can relax there in peace and quiet, go to the sea and swim or cool off radically in the fresh water. There's already a lot going on at the beach, but at the last tip there's nothing in a row and no precisely aligned sun loungers. A nice vacation atmosphere. In the evening you can eat fish at a Greek restaurant as the sun sets and if you want a bit of hustle and bustle, you can go into town. Saranda is, compared to what we have seen of Albania, more concerned with cleanliness. The traffic is of course crazy, but everything remains quiet in a southern way. The people are friendly and straightforward. The building work was a little overdone, we saw a lot of empty apartments.
All in all, the climate there is wonderful, I could have stayed there for weeks. The problem is that after five days we had already bought up all the canned dog food in town. We would have had to continue feeding them dry food. But I can't do that to them, it's far too hot for that. But the five days paid off.

Directly by the sea, nice beach bar for sundowners (no restaurant), on the outskirts of Saranda, quiet, small sanitary facilities - both clean and worked well

Asphalt pitch, no shade, morbid, no charm, neglected, 2 toilets in corrugated iron house, 2 showers
Practical space
It was fine, you get used to the pitch, the sea and the bar make up for it. Definitely the better site compared to the nearby Camping Riverside!
