Small, cozy campground
A small, family-friendly, car-free campground. The trailer is pulled onto the site by a small tractor; cars are parked separately. Handcarts are available for luggage. RVs park in other areas on the grounds.
The site is well-maintained and equipped with all the essential amenities. From Monday through... Saturday, there’s a bread roll service with fresh eggs from the campground’s own chickens, and on Friday and Saturday evenings, you can order pizza.
We can highly recommend this campground as very dog-friendly; our 5 (!) dogs felt right at home, and we were assigned a spot a little off to the side with plenty of space so everyone could have a stress-free time. The owners are very friendly and sometimes even go above and beyond to make the impossible possible for their guests.
Yes, as is the case throughout the Amsterdam area, there can be occasional airplane noise; if this bothers you, you should look for a different destination on the map.

Central location: nice trips to Amsterdam, Alkmar, Bergen, .... Sufficiently large pitches, friendly operator family, sanitary facilities fit and are clean.
Negatiivsed
Soap dispensers should also be available in the toilet area at all washing facilities. Showers 5 minutes / 50 cents ok - but unfortunately after time and not after water withdrawal.
Small, family-run CP in the countryside
A small, family-run CP run by a friendly family, pitches cannot be accessed directly by car, but the trailers are pulled into the meadow with a small tractor. Handcarts are available for unloading. Camper vans have other pitches. Sanitary facilities were sufficient in our time! And there were also quite... a few dog owners with their four-legged friends at the site - without any complications...
This campsite is also located in a beautiful cycling area - you get maps of the area when you check in. The IC train to Amsterdam Centraal takes a good half hour (approx. 15.00 EUR H/R journey). Tip: Open-air museum in Enkhuizen - you should take a day to visit it.
Conclusion: If you are a bit adaptable and don't expect "glamping", you will feel very comfortable here!

We were with a dog on the campsite, complaints even if he has barked only once at 07:30 in the morning, camper has already given us on arrival to understand - dog may not bark - just crass and shit! We thought the Dutch were a bit more accommodating and not complicated - massively disappointing and just shit!!! This place is dead for me!!!

Not at all recommended with a dog - I think let alone if you have several dogs 😡🥵 Toddlers also make noise, I don't know if it would be less bad then!!!

Aircraft noise Sanitary building Lawn much too long
Not much positive
We stayed there for 2 nights in September. The grass was very long so the morning walk to the sanitary building always started with wet feet. They probably didn't think much about the toilets, if you sit on the toilet you look 50cm into the pissour. TERRIBLE! The operators were nice, our son had fun... with the chickens and rabbits that could be seen in a hutch. You can go fishing on the Noord Holland Canal, but it is on a busy road and there is a lot of aircraft noise/air traffic because of Amsterdam Airport.

Ideal location on the Noord Holland Canal.
Camping De Boekel
We visited this small campsite in April 2015. Owners are friendly and speak a little German. Sanitary facilities were clean and the site well maintained. You can order bread rolls and various pastries. From here you can take the boat to the cheese market in Alkmaar every Friday.
