Simple and good
I can confirm the comment above. There is a meadow by the river for tents and vans and a narrow strip for caravans and motorhomes above it. A small road leads past the campsite, but there is very little traffic on it. The site is very cheap: as a family of four with a camper van, car and electricity,... we paid around €13.00 per night. There is no reception, but a nice woman comes by in the evening and collects the money. The sanitary facilities are very basic, but ok. A hot shower is included. You can order baguettes etc. in the restaurant on the main road (approx. 200 m). It's also a great place to eat. Further shopping facilities are in Vuillafans or Ornans, both 2 - 3 km away. There is good swimming at the bridge over the river, but the water is very cold. There is a canoe rental next to the campsite. A hike to the source of the Loue from Hautepierre is well worthwhile.

Sanitary facilities are very basic, shower possibly only cold? We didn't test it, but otherwise there was no hot water.
Small, natural, without frills
It would be nice if such simple but beautifully situated campsites were more common again. Nice simple campsite for people who are looking for camping in "simplicity" - originality.
