An ideal parking spot for a visit to Sofia
This is a RV park. It’s not a campground. However, if your goal is to visit Sofia while passing through Bulgaria, this is the right place to spend a day or two. Getting to and from the city by taxi is affordable. It’s extremely safe. Plus, there are no restrictions on entry or exit times. If you plan to hit the road very early, you don’t have to wait until 7:00 a.m.

Super location! 10 min. walk to the bus stop on Tsarigradsko Shosse. Buses to the city center every 20 min. to Orlov Most. 3-day ticket for metro/bus/tram 15 BGN = 7.50 € (available at Orlov Most). Cab from the square to the center 17-23 BGN (depending on traffic). It is about 13 km. In Germany you pay between 25-30 € for this. Download the app "yellow cab sofia". When you enter your destination, you will receive the arrival time of the cab and the price with a range of up to 3 €. Be sure to take a cab with this app. There are many other cabs that earn "golden noses" from tourists.

First-class parking space in Sofia
Gravel site where Sofia residents park their mobile homes because there is no street parking, at least not near the city center There are around 150 mobile homes and caravans on the site. Around 15 pitches are available for overnight stays. The owner is extremely obliging. He cleans the "sanitary building"... himself every day. Is always "tippi-toppi". He speaks English, which is perfectly adequate for easy communication.
You can pay in cash or by card (in € or BGN). We stayed at the campsite for 10 days for family reasons. We will definitely come back to this campsite next year. The cost is €15 plus €3 for electricity. WLAN available throughout the site. Although it is only one pitch, you can also stay longer. The site is guarded around the clock. The gates are closed; a phone call is enough for the owner to open the gates

Campsite was open in March, secure camping, one toilet and shower in building very clean and lots of hot water. Wifi great. Staff very helpful and friendly. We will be back again to stay longer and see Sofia. There is also a chem waste for toilet and water.

If there were more people staying there could be a wait for toilet and shower if you don't want to use your own. We didn't have a problem though as we were the only ones.
Overnight stay
Advised washing machine not working when we were there but we didn't need it anyway. Extremly helpful staff rang a mechanic for us (as we couldn't ring with the sim on our phone) and arranged a time for us the next day. Price was 12 euro (we only had euro) for the night. The camp is more overnight parking (lots of campers etc stored there as well).
