Otherwise, as described in the text.A very neat, beautiful, clean, and friendly campA very nice, well-maintained campground. Our site was a tent with a car right next to it, which was very convenient. The restrooms are clean and are cleaned daily. You can also book a sauna. We had a short walk to the restrooms, which was very convenient. The sea is within walking distance and perfectly... fine for the Baltic Sea; the beach is rocky, and naturally, on some days there’s blue-green algae and a warning against swimming, but that’s completely normal and natural. The staff—both at the front desk and the groundskeepers—are very, very friendly and once even helped us jump-start our car after the battery died. From Knaus Camp, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets over a wide field; you can rent e-bikes for a half-hour walk to explore the north coast; and the location is generally great. You can only see the water if you make your way through the bushes. Beach?? There’s a staircase leading down, about 5 meters. It’s nothing to write home about, but if you want to do something there with a SUP... or something similar, you’ve hit the jackpot. The campground 50 meters before it is located lower down; depending on where you’re standing, it’s convenient for SUP. However, last-minute campers are placed under the trees, even though there’s still space in the first or second row. The site map is very well laid out—we’d booked a lakeside spot that was nice and spacious for our 9.5-meter-long RV; we had plenty of... room with no issues, and we were even able to park our SUV right there. We also brought our two dogs with us, which wasn’t a problem at all, and we were able to take them on long walks. Unfortunately, there were only 4 showers for women and 4 for men, which isn’t enough. The cleanliness of the showers and restrooms left much to be desired. - 5.0HKHeike K.august 2026Just great 😊The staff is fantastic and has a great sense of humor. The campground is very clean and well-maintained; we stayed in a spot to the right of the house for two days.
The sites were plenty big, and the beach was practically right outside the door.
The cuisine comes highly recommended—the house-smoked fish,... as well as everything else prepared by the young chef, is a dream.
What else can we say? We’d love to come back.

sites are close together, Camping on the grass without access to restrooms (that’s absolutely not acceptable), the rear beach access is unusable because the stairs are old and rusty; overall,... not at all accessible for people with mobility impairments; nature conservation is a plus, but please clear away a few rocks on the beach so that at least families can get into the water,

- 5.0JHJanice H.juuli 2026It's a place you'll want to come back toWe’ve been coming to this campground for several years now, though there was a long stretch in between when we didn’t visit. We love the short walk to the beach; the rocky and sandy beaches are perfect for walks and relaxing. Since the campground is on a hillside, it’s always windy, which makes for a... good night’s sleep. The restroom facilities are clean—especially when everyone leaves them clean—and the lockable shower stalls offer plenty of space. The friendly staff is always there, too. You can always find a spot; they’ll make room for you until it works out.

The entire facility is very appealing, well-maintained, and in a great location right on the beach. The sites are generously sized. The on-site staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff there were always friendly. The amber hike along the Baltic Sea… a highlight for our son. We learned a lot, too!
All the guests there were friendly… everyone always greeted us with a “Hello.”
Even in the evenings, there was no noise... to be heard... even though there were lots of children there.
We could order bread rolls and pick them up in the morning.
The bistro offered plenty of snacks... fries, burgers... pizza. Everything was delicious!
The restrooms were always clean. Toilet paper and soap were also restocked regularly.
Any issues were resolved immediately.
We didn’t lack for anything—we felt right at home!
