We were there this year over Whitsun and Ascension Day. Once with two families and once with 5 families and children. We had our boat with us. The site is beautifully laid out and has plenty of space on the pitch. Electricity is a matter of course and there is a cable connection. Young trees provide... shade at the pitches if required. The inland lake, formerly an oxbow lake of the Rhine, is ideal for motorboats and boating in general. You can really put the pedal to the metal on the Lower Rhine itself. There are lots of play facilities for children and even an indoor play hall. There are also small playgrounds in the rows of pitches for younger children, who can then play under the supervision of their parents. We were unable to test the culinary qualities as we were generally self-sufficient. Only on the Tuesday after Pentecost did we want to go out for a meal at 20:00.
