Basically the CP is ok. Nice location with a view of Östersund, bus connection to the city, friendly staff etc. BUT: this campsite is getting on in years. Nothing against simple or rustic sanitary facilities, but these were simply unkempt. There is SP directly on the lake, the sanitary facilities there... are far better and newer. Disadvantage: you can always hear the traffic. There are also SPs up on a slope with a great view of the town and less traffic noise. However, you have to drive adventurously up the slope through a small forest path. Disadvantage: You always have to drive down the slope to the sanitary facilities (which is not bad, good training). You can quickly cycle into the town, which has a great atmosphere.
