Service Operator very friendly and helpful well-kept place run with heart cozy and familiar Bathing area Udsikt short distances
Desventajas
With full occupancy everything very cramped and too few sanitary facilities
Small place with Norwegian charm
What a beautiful, lovely little campsite. We started our Norway tour there and booked one of the drop-in pitches a few days in advance. You can book one/or the first night and then extend. Even at first glance, everything is very inviting and cozy, Nan immediately has a Norwegian feeling. I was skeptical... about swimming because of the river, but was pleasantly surprised. It's a lovely little beach with a sunbathing area and bathing platform, and the river is really nice for swimming. We were there for two nights and the site was fully booked every day. The pitches are tar/gravel and well maintained. But they are also very close together. There is a lack of privacy. Unfortunately, the road is also quite noisy but very little traffic at night. The sanitary facilities are small. Only two ladies showers, one men's shower. Congestion when fully occupied. But always clean. Small, well-equipped kitchen with sinks, dishes, stove, seating. There are 3 small cabins and other apartments. Ice cream in reception, bread service in the morning. A beautiful path leads through the woods behind the campsite to Udsikt. You can also walk your dog there. The owners are very friendly and helpful and put their heart and soul into running the site.

Very nice place, central for most of southern Norway
Desventajas
Nothing to mention
Sandnes Camping - once again
Been here before - and just love the place!
Nice small campsite (appr. 60 units) - with very nice/clean sanitary installations - VERY friendly personell, and the site itself nice level grass area.
You pick the place you like, and then go to the reception for checkin when it opens in the afternoon....
Located a couple of kilometers outside Mandal - along the river.
YES - there is a road between the campsite and the river, but in the evening and at nighttime there is only very limited traffic.
Dogfriendly - with good areas for "walking the dog" just behind the campsite.
We will be back!

Ventajas
Inexpensive, lots of nature
Desventajas
Not much for children
Nice place with friendly owners
Beautiful site on a slope and a lake. The road in front of the lake is not too busy. You can walk here on designated paths and then have a beautiful view of Mandal and the sea. Friendly owners who will even give you a pitch at midnight if the ferry is late. You need a slightly longer cable for electricity. Dogs are welcome and feel at home here. We paid €25 for one night with electricity.

Perfect start CP for the journey through southern Norway
Desventajas
Too few sanitary facilities (can be tight when the place is full)
Cute CP directly on the fjord
Stayed there for 2 nights. Clean sanitary facilities (unfortunately not enough). Nice operators. The meadow quickly gets a bit muddy when it rains heavily. But perfect for the first night in Norway.

For overnight stay
The CP in Mandal was quaint. For D and H there was only one WC, 2 washbasins and one shower. We were asked to pay in cash.

Desventajas
W-Lan costs 10NOK/24h, directly on a large main road
small but nice
small place, with beautiful hiking trails and fishing pier directly on the river (large salmon occurrence) Unfortunately no free choice of place ... because near the ferry / Kristiansand quickly crowded

Ventajas
Cleanliness, sanitary facilities, staff.
Desventajas
Some road noise ("noise" would be an exaggeration)
Very suitable for exploring the surrounding area
The campsite is only a few kilometers from the (worth seeing) town of Mandal. The location is also ideal for exploring the sights in the surrounding area (Lindesnes, ...). The entire site is very well maintained with lovingly designed accessories. The sanitary facilities are modern (including "family... bathrooms"), clean and adequately sized. The operators are very friendly and helpful. Due to the proximity to the road between the campsite and the river, traffic noise must be expected. WLAN access available for NOK 10/24h.

Beautifully situated on the Mandalselva VERY friendly owner couple Designed for TRAVELLERS - not for moorers ! !
Desventajas
Traffic noise from small road during the day
Small but VERY FINE - OPTIMAL for TRAVELERS
Very nice place about 5 km from Mandal Centrum - along the Mandalelva. A place especially for TRAVELERS, i.e. only a very small number of moorings - therefore a nice atmosphere on the site. Very friendly owner couple - and 100% clean facilities. A small road between the site and Mandalselva causes a little traffic noise during the day - but nothing in the evening/night.

Nice CPam river, unfortunately the road is in between, so that the tent wall wobbles when trucks pass by when you have a river view.

A beautifully situated campsite close to the European road to Kristiansand (only 45 min. drive). The campsite is on a river. There is a road with little traffic between the river and the campsite. The sanitary facilities are OK - the staff very friendly. We were able to choose our own pitch. Sufficient electricity connections available. WLAN available free of charge. A site that we will certainly visit again.
