Hans-Werner B.agosto 20265.0Hans-Werner B.agosto 2026VentajasThe campground had everything you could need. The staff was very friendly and offered tips on the surrounding area. You could order fresh bread rolls, there was a small kiosk, and, above all, everything was well-maintained and clean.DesventajasNo complaints here.A beautiful and peaceful campgroundActually, I've already covered everything in the "Pros" section. It's worth mentioning that all power and water hookups are available; electricity was an extra charge.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 5.0
Celina W.agosto 20245.0Celina W.agosto 2024VentajasA beautifully situated campsite with very clean, well-kept sanitary facilities and well-maintained pitches. Very friendly and helpful site owners. Dogs are welcome. Despite the fact that the main road runs right past the campsite, it is really very quiet. So not at all disturbing! In the morning there are very tasty bread rolls on site and a small mini-market with everything you might need spontaneously.DesventajasIf you had a fenced-in dog run, it would be even more perfect! :)WomanAll in all, a very nice campsite for one or more nights. The Wasserkuppe is easily accessible by bike.Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración. - 5.0
Nadine T.agosto 20245.0Nadine T.agosto 2024VentajasLounge and playroom for children, clean and well-kept, water castle and raft, drying rooms for laundry.Desventajas-noneChild-friendly and well-kept placeWe spent two nights here when we were passing through. With two wild children, it was just the right place for us. The children were able to play and run around at the castle without disturbing anyone, we took a short walk to the adventure playground in the village and here too the children were able... to get plenty of exercise and look at the lambs and calves. There was a water treading area at the campsite, but there is also a lovingly designed water treading area in the village with a hammock, star cinema bench and wooden sculptures. Shopping is within walking distance at Tegut, but there is also a kiosk on site with fair prices. We received a friendly welcome and felt very comfortable.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 5.0WBWolfgang B.junio 20245.0WBWolfgang B.junio 2024Ventajas-very nice operators -quiet during the day and at night -very clean and modern sanitary facilities -reasonable prices for the comfort offeredDesventajasNo answerQuiet, well-kept, inexpensiveWe spent 4 wonderful days here with our motorhome. Everything was perfect.
If you like hiking, you'll get your money's worth here. Well signposted hiking trails and a beautiful landscape.
For those who like cycling: Ebike or better mountain bike. It is very steep in places. Unfortunately, the signposting of the "cycle paths" leaves a lot to be desired.
All in all: a campsite that can be recommended without reservation.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 5.0ARAndreas R.junio 20235.0ARAndreas R.junio 2023VentajasVery quiet placeDesventajasNo gastronomyBeautiful placeVery nice staff. - 5.0SDSiegfried D.mayo 20235.0SDSiegfried D.mayo 2023VentajasVery friendly staff, open to all questions and helpful. Beautiful pitch with water, waste water and electricity at the pitchDesventajasBarrier entry times do not coincide exactly with the time, 10 min difference, otherwise no disadvantagesVery clean and well-kept place. Great for relaxing. We were on the site over Whitsun, when it was of course fully booked, but the staff had everything under control. According to the operator, it is always so full on long weekends, otherwise you can have a nice vacation here. We will definitely be back.
There are also plenty of excursions to do,
Wasserkuppe, Noah's sail, etc.
The towns of Fulda, Fladungen and Gersfeld are easy to reach.

Boss helped as a guideDesventajasThe weatherNice place with friendly staffDespite CORONA time and last-minute registration, we were able to get a place. It wasn't our first time there and certainly not our last. Bread roll service and reasonable prices in the shop. We would like a fence around the dog meadow as it is next to the road. But at least there is a meadow, which is not a given.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero!

Ritva B.julio 20205.0Ritva B.julio 2020VentajasLarge pitches, bread roll service, clean sanitary facilitiesDesventajas---Recommended for families as well as people without childrenThe campsite is very easy to reach, but you can hardly hear the nearby road.
The site is an ideal starting point for hikes to the Wasserkuppe, the Schafstein or the Pferdskopf.
There is a well-stocked small supermarket "tegut" in the village of Wüstensachsen.

The campsite has very basic facilities, if any at all.
The water park is quite nice, but often full of algae. There is no information about the water quality, but it is quite normal for children to fall in while playing.

- 4.0DBDirk B.mayo 20194.0DBDirk B.mayo 2019VentajasGood starting point for day trips, large pitches, friendly groundsman, sanitary facilitiesDesventajasWLAN rather poor, unfortunately also no good cell phone reception via TelekomGood starting point for camping in the regionWe stayed at the campsite for a few days in May, as it was ideally located for all the destinations we wanted to visit in this region. We had a reservation, but there wasn't much going on at the campsite yet. That's why we were allowed to drive onto the pitch and set up during the lunch break on our... arrival. We were greeted by the very nice groundsman, who you could tell was very competent and enjoyed his job. There are no fixed pitches; the pitch is only bordered by marker stones and a hedge at the back. The pitches are large enough for caravans, awnings and cars. There is water and electricity nearby and satellite reception was no problem. Children will have a lot of fun on the great playground, otherwise there are common rooms in the main house for wet days, where you can play table football or billiards (for a fee). The sanitary facilities are also located in the main building. Everything is modern and very clean and there is sufficient capacity. The campsite does not have its own restaurant, but there is a restaurant within walking distance at the entrance to the village. But we didn't try it out. You can order bread rolls for the next day in the small shop, larger shopping facilities can be found one village further on. From the campsite you can easily reach a number of excursion destinations by car. The Wasserkuppe is just "around the corner". Unfortunately, the motorcyclists who accelerated their bikes to top speed at the end of the village, where the campsite is located, were a little annoying. Of course, the campsite operator can't be held responsible for this, but as there are also many motorcycle routes there, you should be aware of this. In addition, the WLAN offered - I mean free - was unfortunately largely unusable. We had a pitch pretty much in the middle of the area and the Wi-Fi connection kept cutting out. This is a shame, as the mobile network (Telekom in my case) only offered weak data reception (LTE rarely, usually only poor 3G or EDGE). This made it almost impossible to use useful apps such as Google Maps or fuel prices. The operator should help with repeaters here.Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración.
