Saby M.junio 20265.0Saby M.junio 2026VentajasIt's really beautiful, and the campsites are nice and spacious. Everything is super clean, and even though it's still under construction, it's still very nice. Great hiking trails, even for the dogs. If the water access issue were to be resolved, we'd be happy to come more often with the dogs.DesventajasThere isn't really a place where the dog can get into the water—or, rather, get back out of the water without help. The docks where dogs are allowed are very nice, but the dog can't get onto them from the water on its own, which is a real shame.Great campground 🏕️Clean, tidy, great-sized campsites, very clean restrooms. Friendly staffTraducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración. - 5.0
Markus W.mayo 20265.0Markus W.mayo 2026VentajasThe booking was totally straightforward. Checking in was also done quickly on arrival and the pitch was found and "occupied". The paths are all very short and there is everything a modern camper could wish for. Above all, everything is in very good condition. The lake isn't huge, but it's enough to cool off and swim for a few minutes. We didn't visit the bar and restaurant but we'll definitely be back.DesventajasnoneIdyllic, quiet placeA wonderful place to spend a weekend or to stay overnight when passing through. We will certainly come back again.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 5.0TBThomas B.junio 20255.0TBThomas B.junio 2025VentajasVery nice, quiet and new facility.DesventajasWe haven't noticed anything in 4 days,Super beautiful 👍Everything clean, very nice quiet location, great value for money, very nice beach bar, everything organic, super friendly staff, ideal for dogs and beautiful if you stick to the normal rules, gladly again at any time.

And what can I say: a very modern concept - just the way I like it. The pitches are big enough and graveled. The dumping station is completely new and very large. Also: no unpleasant odors from toilet cassettes, as a CamperClean station is available. Thank you, we will certainly be back.Traducido automáticamente.3 campistas encontraron útil esta valoración.

Cleanliness.DesventajasNothingSuper placeWe found this place by chance on our way home from the south: it could do with a bit more (signage) to draw attention to itself! It is in a quiet location, very scenic! The staff are very committed and very friendly and are happy to give tips on places to eat (dinner) or excursions.

Quiet location by the lake. Everything is easy to find and there are no long distances. I can recommend a beer in the beach bar.
See you next time!Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración. - 5.0GBGerd B.septiembre 20245.0GBGerd B.septiembre 2024VentajasIt's simply not crowded in this area. Not loud. I can really switch off and enjoy the sounds of nature.DesventajasThe gravel path in front of the pitches is difficult to cycle on. Then you just have to push for 50m :PExplore nature without mass tourismI was very impressed by the partly untouched nature in the Steinwald. The Waldnaabtal is highly recommended. You can either go on a tour by bike. But there are also numerous parking spaces for a hike. On hot days it was magical how cool this microclimate by the river can be.
The campsite was clean and... had everything I needed:
TOP location for all my excursions. No street noise at night. Independent check-in thanks to a code, as was check-out. Amazing sunset when sitting on one of the jetties or in a deck chair at the beach bar.
I need a few more nights here before I've fully explored the area. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!Traducido automáticamente.2 campistas encontraron útil esta valoración. - 5.0PPphilipp p.septiembre 20245.0PPphilipp p.septiembre 2024VentajasYou are totally independent of any opening hours thanks to the 24/7 machine.DesventajasNo possibility for Porta Potti emptying. Only have a CamperClean station for €2New favorite placeThis campsite is on my annual route to the south, not far from the highway and yet in a very idyllic location. The great beach bar is definitely worth mentioning. You should park on the left before the barrier to check in. Then you have to reverse back up again to drive through the barrier. A bit awkward with my old caravan. We will be back!We spent a week here with our children on an L pitch. The caravan fitted in well, but you have to be able to maneuver. We then parked the car across the road. There are no closing times at the barrier.
Thanks to the large playground and the lake, there was never a dull moment. In bad weather, we went to the Siebenquell thermal spa in Weißenstadt, 40 minutes away - great with children!Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración. - 5.0BDBrigitte D.agosto 20245.0BDBrigitte D.agosto 2024VentajasSwimming lake with separate non-swimmer area and playground on the large meadow. Step stool in the sanitary facilities.DesventajasOnly cold water when brushing teeth and washing handsFamily-friendly campsiteWe stayed at this campsite for a week as a family and had a great time out.
There is plenty of space for children to run around and explore on the large meadow by the lake. We had our SUBs with us and had a great time paddling across the lake. All utilities are paid with a credit card. There is a modern... and clean washing machine that you can book with an app for €4. There is also a dryer.
You also have to put your credit card on the reader to do the dishes. I was very hectic at first, but then I read that they only charge 1 cent per minute. This probably prevents people from leaving the tap running.
We were very surprised that the beach bar not only served the usual (currywurst, chips, cola), but also healthier alternatives, some of which were organic and regional. Highly recommended :)Traducido automáticamente.4 campistas encontraron útil esta valoración. - 5.0SMSandra M.agosto 20245.0SMSandra M.agosto 2024VentajasGreat value for money!DesventajasI can't think of anything :)Affordable family vacationWe were here with our 4 children on a large pitch. The price is for 2 adults with all the children. So it was great for us.
After swimming in the lake with a non-swimmer area and small water playground, you can shower off right there and then relax on the large lawn. The children were happy with the... play equipment. There is also a beach volleyball court and a table tennis table.
You could get ice cream, drinks and chips from the beach bar.
There were even berry bushes and herbs right by the campsite. So we were able to cook our favorite pasta with sage butter :)
We'll be back!Traducido automáticamente.3 campistas encontraron útil esta valoración. - 5.0SBSimone b.agosto 20245.0SBSimone b.agosto 2024VentajasBeach cafe, lake, automatic check-in thanks to code whenever you arrive.DesventajasThere are a few permanent campers there. Personally, I don't like the look of it. But the people were all very friendly.Super campsiteMe and my boyfriend wanted to get away for the weekend and came across this campsite by chance. What luck :)
Everything is pretty uncomplicated and relaxed here.
We also got to know the owners - a young couple. Very likeable and hats off to them for what they have planned here. It's nice to see that... there are also entrepreneurs who set up a project in a really sustainable way. I don't think it's that easy to offer vegan chicken in rural Bavaria ;) They make sure to offer something for everyone, and in organic and regional quality wherever possible.
Best regards from Simone and Olaf! I only pay for what I use. Location on the lake. 10 minutes from the highway, but you can't hear it at all.DesventajasVery few shady spots, as the trees are still so small.Modernized campsite by the lakeI stayed at this campsite with my family for a long weekend last year. We had a large pitch and the children loved the strawberries in the bed. And I loved the fresh kitchen herbs. What a great idea! Charging the card is easy and you can then use it to charge electricity to your charging point. We had... to search for a short time, but it's not big here, so it's easy to find where. I recommend simply charging a bit more, then you don't run the risk of running out of credit at night. And you can transfer the remaining credit back to your card later. The camper community was super nice and there were also other children there. It was great that mine could go to the play area with the playground. Swimming in the lake was also ok. I hate fish, but the kids were happy.
I can highly recommend it here.Traducido automáticamente.2 campistas encontraron útil esta valoración. - 5.0ASAnne S.julio 20245.0ASAnne S.julio 2024VentajasSmall campsite, not overcrowded, regional products, clean sanitary facilities, swimming lakeDesventajasNo rental accommodation for campers available.Insider tipWe really enjoyed our vacation here! With our two children and our Goldi, we paid €203 plus €34 service charges for a week on a medium-sized pitch. We all showered every day, used electricity, emptied the cassette and did the dishes.
The children only really spent time in the playground and by the water. We could watch them from the beach bar. Perfect for us :)
We can highly recommend it!Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración. - 5.0MSMarlene S.julio 20245.0MSMarlene S.julio 2024VentajasSmall, modern and clean.DesventajasNo cash payment for additional costs possible.Small campsite in the SteinwaldWe stayed here for 5 nights with our motorhome and had great weather for cycling and hiking. The Steinwald has a lot to offer and yet is so unknown. The lake is relatively small, but enough to cool off and swim a few lengths.Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración.
- 5.0CMChristoph M.julio 20245.0CMChristoph M.julio 2024VentajasLevel pitches, clean sanitary facilities, modern supply and disposal systemsDesventajas.Camping with a dogWe stayed with our motorhome and our two Shepherds on a large pitch for 6 days. Everything was fine so far. The dogs were only allowed off the non-swimmer area further back from the lake. We pointed out to a member of staff that the grass at the back of the lake was too high for them to be there. We... were very kindly assured that this would be taken care of. The next day, a path was mowed and what can I say... the area at the back was incredibly beautiful. We were able to relax between the trees without any people. There was also a shallow place to get into the water.
There was always a water-filled bowl at the beach bar and we also got something tasty there ;)
A small, simple, modern and clean campsite. Value for money is ok. We will be back!Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración.
