Camping on an island
Secluded campsite on the island of Manamansalo in Lake Oulo. We received a very friendly welcome in English and were able to choose a pitch. As a rule, the generously sized pitches consist of a strip of asphalt surrounded by forest floor. Electricity connections are in the immediate vicinity. There is... also an area without an asphalt strip and without electricity. Only a few pitches have a good view of the lake. Numerous pine trees provide sufficient shade.
WiFi is said to be available free of charge at reception (we did not test it) Barbecuing with charcoal is only permitted at the official barbecue areas. There is a large kitchen with dining room and adjoining lounge. Car wash facilities at the waste water point.
The shore has a beautiful beach and there is a separate dog beach about 100m to the west. A small fenced dog run 10x10m is located next to the access road to the campsite. There are various marked hiking trails outside the campsite.
