Nice operator, nice quiet site with small hedges. Sanitary house OK, very clean (like almost everywhere in England very HOT showers, not adjustable!). Small place, therefore for shopping to Witney (about 6 miles). Excursions are worthwhile to Oxford, a round trip through the Cotswolds Hills (very old... quaint villages), to Stratford-upon-Avon, beautiful town and birthplace of Shakespeare, south to Henley-on-Thames, where the royal regattas are held.

A good place to pass through
We landed here on our way back from Cornwall to Harwich for the ferry and were pleasantly surprised. It was immediately noticeable that great importance is attached to cleanliness, peace and order here. The friendly groundsman showed us immediately and precisely how and where to place the camper van... on the pitch :-) But seriously, if you can cope with that, you're in good hands here. Very good for 1 - 2 nights, there's not much else around. At least 2 pubs with food on the village street. The trusting squirrels on the pitch were very nice.

Well organized campsite. Popular with families because of the wellness facilities (swimming pool and sauna). Booking advisable. Often fully booked at weekends and during the season and then sometimes very restless. Hourly bus connection to Oxford. Pub with good food within 5 minutes walking distance. W-Lan for a fee.
