Simple campsite with perhaps 15-20 pitches, perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. The site can best be described as wildly romantic, with the church of Maria Luggau behind you, the magnificent mountain scenery in front of you, the babbling of the Gail below you (that's the stream below ;-)) and... the Milky Way above you in a clarity that you can never see in a densely built-up area. The pitches are arranged on 2 levels and are flat, partly with grass or gravel. The lower level can be reached via a somewhat steep access road. You also have to walk up it to get to the washrooms/toilets. The sanitary facilities are simple but functional, adequate and very clean. In the evening it was quite cool when showering, as the door to the outside was open for ventilation and in the mountains it gets quite chilly in the evening in September. No entertainment, so perfect for people looking for peace and quiet. And mountains.
