Many offers on site, the location, many wash houses and lounges (when they are open) All inclusive
Desventajas
At the end of the vacations in DK, the wash houses and lounges were closed and there were only very limited opening hours for the indoor, swimming pool and reception areas
Campsite with a lot of potential but not for the low season
We booked the pitch with the first Camp Camper Card at a special price. A very large site, our pitch was very spacious, as described. The leisure activities such as swimming pool and indoor were included. There were lots of wash houses, but unfortunately they were closed at the end of the DK vacation!... We had to walk around all the wash houses with the children to find out
to find out where something was still open. There were still 4 family bathrooms open in two wash houses (out of 5). The kitchen and lounge were only open in one house and the toilets were open in a completely different house. An announcement or information would have been great, because the open bathrooms were not visible and the reception was already closed.
The swimming pool is nice for the children, lots of options there. However, only open for a short time, like the reception. The indoor is something different, but when the reception is closed, unfortunately the indoor is closed. We liked the location directly on the beach, the wash houses were clean at the beginning, then they hadn't been cleaned for three days by the time we left. Lots of playgrounds and play areas, which unfortunately were no longer open. The small store was unfortunately already sold out and there was no fresh bread or rolls to order. At times we were only with 4 other campers on the whole site, a bit scary.

The silence... There was nothing going on, why? Maybe it's the campsite itself...
Desventajas
We had one of the thatched roof huts almost directly on the beach. Unfortunately, I have to say that the price/performance ratio was not right. The most positive thing: everything was clean on arrival. The huts are close together, if you like it, ok. And they are getting on in years and unkempt, inside and out. And black mold in the bathroom, no one needs that. And I have never seen such a bad "beach" anywhere on the west coast of Denmark, a pure stone desert.
Rental accommodation 2-3 stars maximum

Super campsite on the North Sea
Very clean campsite. The sanitary buildings were cleaned every 3 hours from 7 am to 9 pm.
Sensational playgrounds for children, football, basketball, scater track, adventure playground, U3 playground, etc.
Indoor swimming pool on site.

The site is located directly behind the dyke, we could hear the sound of the sea from our pitch.

Super equipped campsite with modern facilities in beautiful natural surroundings and very close to the beach
Desventajas
The toilets in the grill houses were not 100% clean
Back home after 20 years
I know the place from my childhood (I was there at least once a year from 1979 to 2000). The campsite has moved with the times. The sanitary facilities are up to date and the kitchens are even very modern. The pitches can be described as large to very large. There is a swimming pool, a kiosk, a restaurant... and lots of leisure activities for children/young people. But the site also offers peace and quiet for adults and is unbeatably close to the beach. The site is also a good starting point for excursions. You can be in Hirtshals in an hour and in Skagen in two hours. But the nearby surroundings also have their charm. Our conclusion. 20 years of abstinence were too long, we will definitely be back

Completely overrated
This place does not deserve 5 stars. We were there this year in August. Everything seemed run down and unkempt. The sanitary facilities were dingy! The restaurant is far too expensive in terms of value for money. The supermarket is poorly stocked, especially when you consider that it takes about 15 minutes... by car to get to the next village. Obviously word gets around. The campsite was virtually empty in mid-August. Regarding the beach, it should be noted that this is also one of the less beautiful beaches in DK. There are much nicer beaches here. Both on the west and north coasts. How the ADAC rates this campsite as highly as Hvidbjerg Strandcamping, for example, is beyond me.

Ventajas
A wide range of play options, especially for younger children.
Desventajas
Very stony beach.
Quiet location in beautiful heathland
The campsite offers plenty of opportunities for children to play. The pitches are also large enough, either sheltered from the wind by large rows of hedges or with a view of the dunes on the open meadow. The water park is nice, but more suitable for smaller children than for teenagers. The sauna area... is very nice, but unfortunately, like the bathing area, it is only open until 7pm. The sanitary facilities are nice, but could be a bit more spacious. It is quite cramped everywhere. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was acceptable, but a more thorough cleaning would be desirable. Wifi is only available on the campsite in the reception area, where tables and chairs are set up for this purpose and you can use it there free of charge. The beach is unfortunately very stony on site and we didn't like it at all. The nearest shopping facilities apart from the CP store are in Fjerritslev (approx. 8 km away) with Aldi, Netto and Spar. Bread rolls can be ordered in advance until 8 pm for the next morning at the campsite.

Super leisure activities for guests
Desventajas
Relatively far from the nearest larger village
A great campsite right on the somewhat stony North Sea beach, with plenty of very good sanitary facilities, which were also very clean. Lots of leisure activities for children thanks to an extremely wide range of facilities (swimming pool, indoor playground, pony rides and various outdoor playgrounds).... "All-inclusive" pricing is very good. All in all a great place - but what bothered us a little were the relatively large number of dogs on the site.

Simply excellent! Everything is getting better and better here! we have been coming to Denmark for 15 years and Klim Strand is simply the best for the price! if you come in the off-season they always have great offers. Every year something new is built or renovated. The entertainment in July is SUPER, even for children over 14. The staff are always friendly and happy to help if you have any problems.

Shortly before the end of the season, we were completely alone on the pitch. But we still had bread rolls. Wonderful long walks on the beach. It's difficult to walk in the hinterland.

We've been there 6 times and have always stood right at the front of the beach, the wind was usually bearable 'only once was it strong. One of the most beautiful places in Europe in 16 years of camping. I do triathlon - running and cycling are great here, swimming in the sea - always quite cool.

Beautifully situated campsite on the North Sea directly behind the dunes. Very clean and well-equipped sanitary and kitchen facilities (gas stoves and microwave). Friendly, very helpful CP management. Everything is available here, from a fun pool to a sauna and a very well-stocked market with a bakery. An all-round recommendable site of a definitely higher category.

But the prices are rising and nothing has been changed, the snack bar is expensive and they only serve teenagers who have no idea how to make pizza, for example. A bit low for 5 stars.

A top place in a tip top location by the sea, very quiet and well equipped. Anyone who loves and likes Denmark will be satisfied here. Dog-friendly, there is even a shower for the animals. Unfortunately, WLAN is only available around reception! This is not ok for a site like this and is better described... in the camping guides (ADAC) However, the site is not quite worth five stars! There are even nicer beaches in Denmark, 40 km further north, with lots of gravel.
