The campground is beautifully situated in the middle of a nature reserve. Located right on the Little Belt, most sites offer a great view of the water. It's a lovely place to go for a walk, even with a dog.

Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, there’s no longer any personal contact. There’s no staffed office—just a QR code to scan. When we were there, the shop was unfortunately poorly stocked. There’s only one scanning terminal. When I took a look at it, there were other guests standing in front of the terminal who couldn’t figure out how to use it even after several attempts. Under the previous owner, there was a large selection of rolls, bread, and pastries. Now there are only two kinds of rolls, which are very expensive compared to other campgrounds. The area for camper waste and toilet disposal was filled with full trash containers

A good pitch layout, optimally sized sanitary facilities and a small store with a bread roll service. The wonderful location between the sea and the game reserve offers sooo many opportunities to relax, explore or simply have fun.

A small restaurant or snack bar is missing - but fortunately the town of Mittelfahrt is not far away. There are plenty of good places to eat and shop here.

The proximity to nature and the quiet location on the Little Belt as well as the short distance to the city are great. The infrastructure on the site is modern and very clean. The site management is very friendly and helpful.

Internet, electricity and showers are to be paid extra

The site made a well-kept, park-like impression with spacious pitches. Well-kept lawns are interspersed with hedges and are partially broken up by individual trees. You have a view of the Little Belt from almost all pitches and the sun sets directly in your line of vision. From the site you can explore the peninsula via various hiking trails or walk/ride directly along the shore to Middelfart. There is a bread roll service. The owner speaks perfect German and was extremely friendly. When you book online, you get a code with which you can enter the site directly without having to check in. The code gives you access to all the buildings and through all the gates, ensuring that only camping guests use the infrastructure. In short: a beautiful, well-kept site.

The sanitary building basically made a decent impression. The furnishings are not brand new but still contemporary. However, during our stay we noticed that the sanitary facilities were very dirty. One shower did not drain, the floor was also dirty in the showers and the washbasins were not cleaned. We found this very unfortunate as it didn't really fit in with the image of the campsite. Maybe we were just unlucky and there were problems with cleaning staff or similar. In any case, we didn't notice any cleaning during our stay. Departure is possible until 1pm, so we left the site by car again in the morning on the day of departure. Unfortunately, we couldn't get back onto the pitch after that because the system checked us out by entering a code when we left. The code was unusable and the electricity in the caravan was automatically switched off. The matter was resolved in a friendly manner at reception and we were able to return to the pitch. However, this was a hint.
