"Great place near Maastricht - Located near Maastricht in rural surroundings, the site has large, easily accessible pitches. The site is in a quiet location and you can cycle to Maastricht - or take the bus. There is a supermarket and a bakery in the small town. The sanitary facilities are good with hot water and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Bread rolls without advance notice. Nice bike tours in the area are possible, Valkenburg should definitely be seen. Remark: If you like bread, you shouldn't necessarily go to the Netherlands, they can't do that.

"Camping close to the city - Nice place, pitches large, we had water connection, sanitary very clean, maybe a few more showers but is ok. Very good direct bus connection to the center of Maastricht

"Camping in beautiful countryside, near Maastricht - We stayed at the CP Europarcs Poort v Maastricht for only 2 nights, partly because there were no more pitches available in and around Maastricht. We were lucky as we arrived there at 16:50 and the reception was still open for 10 minutes, but we received a friendly welcome. We did not have a pre-booking. It is not possible to arrive later without a reservation. The site itself offers large pitches, with electricity, water and waste water at each pitch. Most of the pitches are on level grass, the access road is asphalted and the pitches are also suitable for very large caravans. Barrier times are sufficient for transit travelers, from 08:00 to 22:00. There is a small covered pool and several playgrounds. Sanitary facilities are very functional and clean, if all guests would behave considerately. Good free WLAN is available throughout the site. One part of the site is laid out with new rental chalets, some of which are landscaped. Maastricht is easily accessible by bike and there is a supermarket and bakery in the village. There is also a mini store on site. On Saturdays, the chips van comes to the forecourt until 20:00. Since Europarcs took over the campsite, the management, cleanliness and facilities are very professional, even if the reception service times are hardly acceptable for travelers. All in all, we recommend Poort van Maastricht, in beautiful surroundings and a quiet location.

"Gladly again - Friendly welcome, level site, pitch dusty due to the dry weather. Sanitary building clean, quiet despite many families, at least at the back of the campsite. Dog run right next to the campsite. By bike via cycle path to Maastricht old town approx. 20 min. Cycle path leads directly past the campsite. Shopping facilities on the campsite and also supermarket (Plus) and bakery in the town. If we go to the southern region of Limburg again then certainly back to this campsite. Many thanks

"Very good camping - Great place with super staff. Acsi Card no problem, late departure no problem either. Even the standard pitches are so big that there is plenty of space for the car next to the awning or awning. Please note: there is a 12 euro charge for reservations, why is that? But that's the only point of criticism. The sanitary facilities are never far away, very clean, heated and with music, the surroundings are wonderful, if you have a good trekking bike (without electricity) like me, you should be in good shape in this hilly country. If you don't have it, you'll get it. Also perfect: there is a bus stop for the Maastricht-Valkenburg line right next to the campsite. TiPP. buy a day ticket for €7.95. This allows you to travel around all day with the ARRIVA bus company.
