"Appearances can be deceptive - Vacation ❘ Couples Well, Where should I start? It's best to start with the advantages, I'll finish that quickly. Location: Very good. Close to the city. Bathing lake with a great beach. Restaurant on site: Good, including the service. Then we come to the disadvantages. Pitch: so sloping in places that even caravans could not be pitched straight. Electricity: strong fluctuations up to under 200 V. Distributor in the area of pitch 436 incorrectly wired. Reported, but not changed until departure after 7! Days not changed. We are talking about a safety-relevant defect here! Washroom: Getting on in years. Several toilets and pisuars not functional or dismantled. Doors of some toilets could not be closed. But clean. And the NoGo at the weekend, cold or lukewarm water for showers in the morning with high occupancy. Allegedly, all sanitary facilities are designed for the disabled. However, there is a step in the upper sanitary building at the entrance to the wash house. Furthermore, access is only possible from below. If you have a seat in the upper area of the wash house, you have to make a considerable detour in a wheelchair and then end up facing a barrier that you cannot overcome on your own. There is actually a lunch break. But the staff weren't interested. They were mowing the lawn. The staff are overwhelmed in many ways. Even at registration, ours was supposedly not available, although we had written confirmation. Up to double allocation of places. At the two events on May 1st, a barbecue event was supposed to take place from 16:00. But it only started at 17:00. It took a long time at the beginning because there was simply not enough food for the rush. was put on. Only the restaurant that provided drinks worked The "breakfast" offered on 01.05 with veal sausage or wieners shone with lukewarm sausages. My conclusion: Not recommended for the price. There is an urgent need to work on the basic standards here

"Well located, friendly, clean place - Super location, friendly, committed management, cleanliness, good home-style restaurant. Well suited for sightseeing. The only tiny downside: the drainage doesn't work properly in constant rain and the bread roll prices are very high. But it's not vital, we would visit the site again at any time.

"Super campsite - It was a few wonderful days that we were allowed to spend on the campsite after a long break due to illness and simply said it was great. many thanks to the entire team is a beautiful and competently managed place. keep it up we will be back. we would also like to mention the restaurant very friendly. Thanks to all for the nice time.

"Capable of expansion - Due to the change in the campsite plan in the middle of the season, it is very chaotic and the pitches are getting smaller as a result. Almost all campers are accommodated downstairs because of the new sanitary building. The upper sanitary building is very old. As a result, there were waiting times for showers in the new one, although there are about 20 showers there. Unfortunately there is already mold on the wall in some cabins. The separation between the shower and the "changing area" unfortunately has an edge, and the "changing area" does not have its own drain, so that you cannot draw the water into the shower there (bad planning). Furthermore, the towel paper and the soap dispenser of the two ! In the morning a cleaner came with a cloth and a spray bottle and used it to clean all the toilets! In addition, the new house only has three sinks, definitely not enough. (Bad planning). We also found it disappointing to realize that Odin and Ben were no longer running the site, they had great ideas but were bullied away by the DCC and permanent campers. We did not receive this information on the site. We will not be coming back.

"Rating New Year's Eve 23/24 - We felt very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was really good, plentiful and reasonably priced. Subsequent spontaneous Silverster party was well organized and fun.

"Expandable - It was very quiet on the pitch despite a big event in the town. The permanent campers were all very nice. Thank goodness the direct neighbors in vans and motorhomes didn't talk to everyone. So we had a quiet time..... It's children's time and the restaurant has quiet times! The sandy beach on the lake is a joke and there were no water sports. Yes, the sanitary building upstairs is old, but everything worked - we've never seen shower curtains hanging into the shower tray like that :-) The lower building will probably not be finished until 2050... In general, the site is getting on in years. It starts with the not very inviting check-in. It's also a bit far from the city center on foot. Although many places were free, the new neighbors were always right next door :-) If this is now a flagship of the DCC.... but there is still a lot to do. Many of our neighbors also didn't know that the groundskeepers from the promotional film have been gone since the end of December 2022. Something has already been done, but now everyone is probably falling asleep again. What a shame! It would be better to take the movie off the website..... We didn't have any great expectations, everything was there and it worked. But for longer than a week? No.
