A great vacation—just the way it should be
As always, a very relaxing stay. It starts with the perfect spot. The restrooms are always clean, even though they’re right by the sea—where rain and sand can sometimes cause problems. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely be back.

A really beautiful and, especially considering its size, very well organized campsite. The beach is unspoiled and that's a good thing. We had a great pitch in the 2nd row with a view of the Baltic Sea and wonderful sunsets...All the facilities are very clean and well maintained and the staff are very friendly. We would love to come back...

perfect...
We are here for the 1st time... Friendly reception, completely uncomplicated! In response to my question about payment, "why don't you come and do it tomorrow in peace". Introduction to the site with a friendly chat... it's quiet here on the site, really just great to switch off!!! We would love to come back...

the best thing was the location, from the bed with a view of the waves
Desventajas
There was nothing
Top campsite at a humane price
We were guests for a long men's weekend. After a friendly welcome, we were shown around the site and given personal instructions. The bread roll service worked immediately. The pitch and the sanitary facilities were always clean and absolutely spotless. You could shower for 3 minutes for €1. But the... highlight was the pitch with a view of the water and the island of Hiddensee. You could watch the waves from your bed. The site offers a starting point for many activities.
From a trip to Hiddensee to enjoying fish, collecting stones on the beach and much more. We can really recommend the place and will definitely be back.
Many thanks to the team!

Beautiful place
The site is close to the sea with a view of Hiddensee. The team is friendly and the site is always well maintained. The place itself offers little and after a few days it gets boring

Very quiet Clean sanitary facilities Well-kept place Bread roll service / magazines / newspaper Helpful operators
Desventajas
Actually none essential Unfortunately no dog shower or beach shower available
Quiet campsite directly on the Baltic Sea
We had a lovely stay in Dranske and were able to relax well.
The sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day and were always in good condition and I always found a free toilet or shower.
It would be nice if there was an additional shelf or chair in all showers.
The shower time is relatively... short for one euro but sufficient.
There are two washing machines and a dryer, one use costs three euros and is cheap compared to other places.
Dogs are allowed on the beach and there are also poop bags and collection bins on site.
There is also a supermarket and bakery nearby, and on Fridays and Saturdays you can buy fresh fish in the fish hall. I can also recommend the local Café Sahne and the fish restaurant in Dranske, as well as the fish sandwiches in the kiosk.
Apart from the many mosquitoes and wasps, everything was fine and the operators can't do anything about that.

Beautiful place with lots of peace and quiet
It was incredibly quiet and the campsite operators were really friendly and, above all, caring.
We were here with our children (3 and 6 years old) and they really got their money's worth. They could run around, play and got a lolly every day when we picked up the bread rolls. They were also allowed to... take the lawnmower for a spin and that was just great. The beach with the stones invites you to spend hours looking for treasures and we simply felt very comfortable for the 14 days and would like to thank you once again for the vacation at the camp. We will definitely be back next year!

Extremely clean sanitary building. I have rarely found anywhere else like this. Pitches are redone immediately after each departure. So lawn mowed and hedge trimmed. Friendly staff and helpful managers. The pitches are very large and there is plenty of space.

Great place to relax.
A lovingly run campsite that is a pleasure to spend time on. You can go cycling, hiking or just relax on the campsite or by the Baltic Sea. The managers and staff are happy to help anyone. The sanitary building was always clean. I have rarely experienced such cleanliness in 40 years of camping.

The place is very well maintained. The beach is close, but rather unsuitable for us as bathing freaks.
Desventajas
Too many dogs, even on the beach. Shower time often less than 3 minutes. Laundry can only be done in the washing machine. No wash basins available. Doing laundry where dog clothes are also washed, sorry ---not possible.
Vacation in May 2023 at Campingplaltz Ostseeblick
We were at this campsite for the first time in May.
We came here on a recommendation.
The registration went very smoothly.
We were amazed at the sanitary facilities.
1 euro for 3 min showers. Cold showers are not possible and despite being told to turn off the hot water, nothing came out after 2 minutes....
GREAT
There are also too many dogs on the site. We have been campers for 58 years, but we have never experienced such a wrong love of animals.
We would prefer it if children were welcome and not the dogs.
And swimming on the beach with a dog, no, no, no.
Laundry can only be done in the machines provided, but unfortunately the dog blankets etc. are also washed there and, according to an employee, so are the employees' cleaning clothes.
Why is there no basin for hand washing?
And why is the area not separated,
Dog side and no dog side.
We know this from many, many campsites.
So we can't understand all the praise for this site.
We drove on and had some nice days on Rügen.
By the way, the campsite on Rügen - PRORA is pet-free and fully booked, but with families with children.

Super well-kept place!
Desventajas
none that concern the square! There is no real beach in the immediate vicinity, but that is a matter for the town.
real top place!
After just under 2 weeks you can already observe a lot on the site, e.g. : The welcome (not only for us) is extremely warm, all the necessary information is provided, then you are accompanied to the pitch and support is offered!
Central sanitary facilities, so the outside ones have to go a bit further,... but it doesn't hurt.
When a pitch becomes available, the pitch team arrives immediately to clean, mow the lawn and trim the hedges around the pitches. There are different sizes here, everything from a VW bus to a huge Frankia can be accommodated.
The pitches on the lakeside deserve special mention here. Despite strong winds, small areas with hedges have been created here so that the outdoor seating area can be set up sheltered from the wind. Superbly implemented.
As for the sanitary facilities, we had the impression that they were constantly being cleaned, my wife asked and was told that they were cleaned 8 - 10 times. That is certainly not an exaggeration.
In short, a super site, the best we've been to so far, a super friendly site team, and even the weather was good! We would love to come back!

Wonderful campsite right by the sea
We camped in the front row from 29.05.-13.06.22 and were just as thrilled as we were 3 years ago. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. A very nice pitch, right on the Baltic Sea, what more could you want. The sanitary facilities were always clean and the friendliness of the campsite management and... team made us feel at home. The peace and quiet on the site was very relaxing. We really miss the view of the sea at breakfast and the beautiful sunsets. We would love to come back.

great CP right by the sea
This was our fourth time on this site after 1993, 1994 and 1995. The site is right by the sea with a view of the island of Hiddensee. The campsite is now run by the grandson of the former owner. The family tradition has continued and you can tell that the Jahnke family put their heart and soul into it.... The site, including the lawn, is very well maintained, with small flowerbeds and other eye-catchers scattered everywhere. The sanitary facilities were sufficient and we always found them clean. The site managers were always friendly and helpful. Water and electricity are available at every pitch. You can get bread rolls, newspapers, magazines and other little things you need for breakfast at reception. A store is about 500 meters away. Restaurants are also within walking distance. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely be back

We have not seen such a clean and well-kept place for a long time and the bosses were very friendly - we were accepted as a matter of course although not reserved and they looked for a suitable place for a Womo with trailer for us - we are totally thrilled - shopping in the village is also no problem because there is a beverage market and a Netto - always happy to return anytime

The pitch with a view of the Baltic Sea and Hiddensee, the tranquillity of the site
Desventajas
too many dogs, some motorhomes had 3 to 4 with them
Beautiful place on the Baltic Sea
If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The site is located directly on the Baltic Sea without any through traffic and without any animation or entertainment.
Bread roll service and a few little things are available at the reception, the Jahnke family is super friendly and... helpful.
As a caravan driver you almost feel out of place, there are mainly motorhomes here.
There are many opportunities for cycling. You can take the boat to Hiddensee every day, both from Dranske and from Wiek or Breege.
Even if the site is a bit remote, you can be at the other end of the island of Rügen in an hour, e.g. in Groß-Zicker where you can hike through the Zicker Alps.

A dream right by the sea!
We are totally thrilled with this place! We were right by the sea. In general, you can see the sea and the island of Hiddensee from almost every pitch here. The sunsets were gigantic and every evening the campers met on the beach to take photos. It is wonderfully quiet on the site. It is family-run and... is looked after and maintained with dedication! Everything, including the sanitary facilities, is spotlessly clean! The host family and the good spirits of the site (groundsman, cleaning lady) are very hospitable and friendly.
The natural beach is also very clean and invites you to take beautiful walks on the beach and look for chicken gods. :-) You can also go for nice walks and cycle here. The cycle paths here are very well developed. In Dranske there is a Norma for shopping and a snack bar with delicious fish sandwiches. There is also a surf bar on the Bodden and other restaurants where you can eat well. There is a good bread roll service on the site itself.
We felt very comfortable here and it certainly wasn't our last time!
