- 5.0SSSonja S.junio 20255.0SSSonja S.junio 2025VentajasEverythingDesventajasNoneAll is still right with the world hereWe spent wonderful days at this natural campsite. It is a family business with heart and soul. The pitch by the pond, the cooling lido and not forgetting the fantastic restaurant. Regional upscale cuisine with a small and very fine menu fulfills culinary demands at a very high level. The sanitary facilities... are always clean and of course there is toilet paper and soap. The castle ruins are an absolute dream to explore. History and the present are united on this site in the magnificent natural setting of the Knüllgebirge.
When the crickets and frogs 'sing' by the pond in the evening, you can feel that all is still right with the world here. We liked it so much that we became permanent campers. We would like to thank the Zinn family for the wonderful time on your wonderful site. Arrive, set up, relax and unwind!

Close to the A7 but still quietDesventajasThe sanitary facilities are unfortunately a disaster. Too small, too unclean, no soap or quickly run out.Quiet natural location next to a castleNice location, right next to a castle. You can discover a lot here. We only stayed one night and didn't use the swimming lake. The food in the restaurant was ok.Traducido automáticamente.2 campistas encontraron útil esta valoración.
- 1.0FHFraenzis H.agosto 20211.0FHFraenzis H.agosto 2021VentajasThe landscapeDesventajasNo shopping facilitiesDirty campsite in a great locationThis was the worst place in terms of cleanliness that we have experienced. Wash house too small for too many people. No soap, no disinfectant. 2 showers. Water ran over from the side shower. No garbage cans. At the garbage place 1 container that overflowed. All the garbage piled up next to it. Night... lighting on the paths defective. The restaurant was also not inviting. The beach chairs and chair cushions full of stains. Too bad, the location is beautiful.Traducido automáticamente.2 campistas encontraron útil esta valoración.
- 2.0SGSonja G.agosto 20212.0SGSonja G.agosto 2021VentajasThe location is very nice, close to nature. Pitches are easy to access for transit campers, a somewhat long walk to the wash house.DesventajasWe were told at the registration desk that there is no toilet paper in the sanitary building or WC, so you have to bring your own. Ah yes! Which I still understand to some extent. What is not possible at all, especially in times of Corona (negative test had to be presented at check-in) there is neither soap nor disinfectant in the sanitary building! No hand dryer or wipes - you can discuss that, but NO soap! Not possible at all.Passing throughIf you're looking for peace and quiet, you'll find it here.
We stayed one night, I wouldn't want to take everything with me (toilet paper, soap and towel) when going to the toilet.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 3.0AKAnja K.junio 20213.0AKAnja K.junio 2021VentajasOvernight accommodation very quiet, friendly service at reception and in the restaurant, bread roll serviceDesventajasPassage pitches could be better maintained, sanitary facilities a good distance up the hill from thereQuiet place near A 7Place chosen because of proximity to the A 7 - at the transit sites at the small lake the highway was not heard, pure peace, swimming lake at the restaurant very refreshing, restaurant delicious - the only thing that bothered us was that the lawns at the lake were very unkempt and there was no way to empty normal gray water, the sanitary building is just too far away for thatTraducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración.

Hans-Peter W.junio 20214.0Hans-Peter W.junio 2021VentajasThe transit pitch by the lake was large, a little uneven but the location and tranquillity are second to noneDesventajasThe very long way to the sanitary building at the top of the mountain. The nearest shopping facilities are approx. 7 km awayQuiet place by the lake without the hustle and bustleThe campsite is in a quiet location away from any roads. You can hike or just go for a walk directly from the site. The pitches for short breaks down by the lake are not yet fully equipped with CE plugs; an adapter for a normal socket is required.
The restaurant is very good, the Zinn family focuses... on regional cuisine and organic products. There is also a natural swimming pool next to the restaurant.
The path to the sanitary building, which is located in the upper part of the campsite, is a little long, so there is no need to rush. The same goes for the disposal of the camping toilet, so it's better to drive up the hill by car.
There are no shopping facilities in Wallenstein, there is a trout farm 4 km away and in Remsfeld - approx. 7 km away - there is a bakery, drinks shop and supermarket.
The place is very suitable for a quiet, relaxing vacation, who needs animation is wrong here.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 5.0ABAnette B.septiembre 20205.0ABAnette B.septiembre 2020VentajasVery friendly reception. Claus V.julio 20194.0Claus V.julio 2019VentajasRestaurant with delicious dishes on site, close to the A7, extra seats for 'travelers passing through'.Good place with swimming pool and restaurant for a stopover near the A7We only made a stopover here on our return journey to northern Germany. There are places especially for travelers passing through. There is a restaurant with delicious food right next to the site and a natural swimming pool. Although there was a large group of young people on the site, it was very quiet. The sanitary facilities are new, but you have to walk a relatively long way from the above-mentioned pitches.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 3.0GSGunnar S.junio 20193.0GSGunnar S.junio 2019Ventajasnear A7, fast and uncomplicatedDesventajasSanitary facilities and water relatively far awayStopoverCampsite is close to the A7, the transit pitches are right next to a small lake, a bit uneven but ok. - 5.0RPRolf P. M.julio 20185.0RPRolf P. M.julio 2018Ventajas- Quiet place near the highway A7 - Bathing facilities - restaurantDesventajas- Uneven pitchesRelaxation after a long journey with bathing facilitiesWe used the site for an overnight stay during a longer trip. We were allocated a suitable but not very nice pitch. It was also quite uneven. We realized too late that we would probably have been better off on the adjacent, paved motorhome pitch. After the somewhat complicated installation, however, we... were able to enjoy swimming in the natural pond, a visit to the castle and a good dinner. A quiet night and fresh bread rolls for breakfast made us fit to continue our journey.Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración.

Characterized by permanent campersSturnCampsite is very nicely located, not too far from the highway. Would be ideal if there were more places for WOMO! Further walk to the sanitary facilities. No water point in the passage area.OK but not specialWe were on this site with 5 families over Ascension Day. Please note: 2017 was a wet year when we were there. You could almost forget the pitches at the bottom, not usable, even for camper vans, but especially for real tent campers. Good price, friendly staff and an impressive restaurant for a campsite. - 3.0HOHerbert O.junio 20173.0HOHerbert O.junio 2017FriendlyWe stopped here for one night on our return from vacation. We received a friendly welcome and were instructed immediately so that we could leave the camper hitched up and continue our journey the next morning. Unfortunately, the overnight pitches - in front of the barrier - are a bit uneven, so you have... to try out how best to stand. We were impressed by the location and surroundings of the campsite. We also only encountered friendly staff in the restaurant, who were also able to serve very tasty food with a regional focus. We didn't really expect this, as the campsite is a little off the beaten track between two highway access roads, which means you have to drive for some time on small country roads. However, we also found the path - uphill - to the sanitary facilities to be relatively long and, as previous comments have already noted, very dark at night.Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración.
