The campground itself won us over in every way. The spacious sites are separated by hedges, offering plenty of privacy. Our site was pleasantly situated in partial shade—perfect for hot summer days. The restroom facilities were always accessible and clean. Everything else was taken care of as well: dishwashing facilities, a lounge area, and excellent amenities leave nothing to be desired.
Special mention must be made of the private owners (the Huber family), who run their campground with great passion. They are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and always available to offer valuable tips on places to visit in the area. In addition, up-to-date brochures and informational materials are available, so you can plan your stay perfectly.
Bottom line: A lovingly run campground in a dreamlike location with excellent service, plenty of peace and quiet, and a relaxed atmosphere. We felt welcome from the very first moment and would love to come back.

The lake is just a short walk away and offers a lovely loop for an evening stroll; unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to go boating, but we’ve made a firm plan to do so on our next stay. I can’t speak to other excursion tips—our plan was to spend some quiet time at the campground.
The kids playing on the grounds also seemed to be having a great time, zipping around on bikes and go-karts.

We had a lovely, large pitch surrounded by hedges with sun and shade and a beautiful lawn covered in daisies. Our three dogs immediately fell over in the green grass and slept off their stress. There is an idyllic circular walk around the lake directly from the campsite (4.5 km & must be kept on a lead), which is perfect for walking. It was quiet here too and we only met a few people. The dog owners were very considerate of each other. There is no mobile phone reception on the site, which can be seen as an advantage or disadvantage. However, to compensate for this, the Huber family offers cheap and quite well-functioning (i.e. fast) Wi-Fi. The campsite manager, Mrs. Huber, is an extremely cheerful, friendly and helpful person.
