Nice quiet area (every now and then a plane comes) located in the pine forest very nice site operators
Desventajas
You have to get used to the ribbon for water ;-)
Idyllic campsite
We stayed here for just under a week and felt very comfortable. Pure relaxation and everything is handled in a relaxed and personal way.
We will definitely be back.

Ventajas
Beautiful location on the lake Friendly operator Friendly permanent campers
Desventajas
Not entirely quiet Take your own toilet paper No wifi, no bread service
Very beautifully situated campsite
We stayed at the campsite for 4 nights and would go there again. The site and surroundings are simply very, very beautiful. And the disadvantages listed above were not so important for us.
You can't get anything to eat on the site, but there are several nice restaurants, beer gardens and cafes within... a 10-minute walk along the lake.
There is also a streetcar from there to Berlin city center.
It was very quiet on the square itself, but sometimes airplanes fly directly over the square to BER every 2 minutes, quieter than you would expect, but clearly audible. For those who are sensitive ... But there were also times when only 2-3 planes flew every hour.
There is also a large, very nice public beach with a bathing area next to the site. It can get noisy there at the weekend when young people want to party. We were there for 2-3 hours and it was much more annoying than the planes.
Costs for two with caravan and electricity 30€/N

Quiet place directly on the Flakensee
Desventajas
That would be complaining at a high level.
Very friendly reception
A super nice welcome at the campsite got our Berlin weekend off to a good start. We set off on Thursday after work and there was a traffic jam straight away. Despite our late arrival, we were allowed onto the site. It is surrounded by greenery and offers an ideal starting point for visiting the city, water sports, hiking and cycling.
We really enjoyed the weekend with a wedding. We will definitely come back here again. Many thanks to the team!

We rented a permanent caravan. Despite three calls to confirm and my repeated request to make an advance payment, we were told on the last night that our reservation did not exist and we would have to stay outside. Even when I showed messages and correspondence, this was denied. I kept informing them of our itinerary as there were train delays. Nothing was said until the last minute and then suddenly they wouldn't take us in! Even though we had a three-year-old child with us. I can't give a good rating because of this bad start to our vacation. This is not good management behavior. I strongly recommend all future guests to be extra sure about their reservation.

Very nice staff. The site is natural. By bringing your own toilet paper, the toilets stay cleaner. (What a miracle) The sanitary facilities are very clean and showers are cheaper than anywhere else. (1 liter of hot water costs 1 cent) The surrounding area is easy to explore by bike.
Desventajas
If you are standing in an unfavorable position and it is dry, it could become dusty from passing vehicles.
Ideal pitch for campers who want to stay longer or just for one week
Good things are so close and if you only have a weekend and still want to get out into nature with your camper van or tent, the pitch at Flakensee is a good choice.

Very quiet small campsite in the middle of nature and directly on the lake.
Desventajas
- the paths could be better surfaced. - the playground is nostalgic and could be modernized - Bread roll service would be great
modest little campsite
A small natural campsite right on the lake. The area is very quiet and beautiful.
The receptionist and the groundsman are very nice. Shopping facilities are about 2 km away (Lidl, Edeka)

For me, it's easy to reach by bike from the center of Berlin. A great route with a very pretty destination. No problem even with a child (11).
Desventajas
I don't know, I can't think of anything.
Just let your mind wander ...
The sanitary facilities are well maintained and clean. The owners are warm and very friendly and the prices are perfectly reasonable. I like staying here and will come again. :-)

Friendly staff, very clean.
Desventajas
No bread service, water points not up to date, no shelves in the showers for shower utensils and things, electricity connections, waste separation urgently needed in this day and age,
Everything is the same for the third time. For this day and age, you have to like it
This was our third time at this campsite. In 2013, 2014 and 2021. Nothing has changed for the better at the campsite during this time. The water taps are worthy of improvement, as are the manholes and the paths.
All these things should not be a criticism but a suggestion. On a side note, permanent campers... alone do not make a campsite. A caravan always needs a car. A caravan does not drive itself. ( Parking fee ? )
Thank you very much
It was still nice.

Super Campingplatz!

Very friendly staff Great lake with bathing facilities Shady places under trees
Desventajas
Somewhat loveless ambience Plague of mosquitoes! Resin on the caravan due to pine trees
Hard to put into words...
We stayed at the campsite for three nights with two adults and a dog. The reception by the operator was very friendly. We were guided to our pitch by the operator's father and even given instructions. Top!

For any water withdrawal and access to the wash house you need a badge that you have previously... loaded with credit. This didn't bother us too much, but it is very inconvenient!

The site itself is not bad, located directly in the forest and close to the lake, but makes a somewhat loveless impression. Small details such as the fact that there is only one soap dispenser for three washbasins in the toilets or that there is not even a holder in the cubicle for the toilet paper you have brought yourself spoil the picture.
The bottom line is that you can spend a few nights here if you don't have high expectations, but we wouldn't spend a longer vacation here.

great location, bathing area right on the square
Desventajas
no bread roll service
simple..... but a great location
We stayed at the site with a T4 for a weekend. The much-described transponder use is completely unproblematic and also not expensive. We had a great pitch with a direct view of the lake - the best pitch on the site. Unfortunately, there is no bread service or similar. Bread rolls are available in the neighboring village, about 8 km away. The bathing area right next to the site is great. Highly recommended for a weekend, but not for longer.

Ventajas
Small, quiet, not far from the lake and right in the forest.
Desventajas
Own toilet paper is required, no holders or shelves for it
Quiet campsite with very nice operators
We only used this campsite as a stopover with an overnight stay with 2 adults, 2 teenagers (13, 15) and 2 dogs. If you read through the site rules, you get the feeling that nothing is allowed. However, this was not the case as the daughter of the owner couple was extremely nice and accommodating. We... were allowed to keep our car on the pitch for one night. The sanitary building and a side exit to the forest are in the immediate vicinity. Which was ideal for us with the dogs. It was a bit unusual that you have to bring your own toilet paper and there isn't even a holder or shelf for it. For drinking water and washing up, in addition to showering, the transponder is also necessary for billing. Prices are very reasonable. Conclusion from our side: very quiet, nice campsite, which was ok for us as a stopover. More suitable for couples who like it quiet. A small deficit is the access road, as there is currently a building site and when the weather is nice there is a lot going on around the lake. With a caravan it is very difficult to get through.

Clean, lake view, very friendly
Very nice place / great hosts
We stayed at the campsite at the end of September '18. The hostess was warm, courteous and super friendly. We felt very welcome from the very first second. The sanitary facilities were very well maintained, immaculate and super clean. Our pitch with a view of the lake - on a terrace - was simply fantastic. We felt 100% at home. We will be back.

Very good camping close to Berlin.
Large, spacious campground located on a quiet and peaceful lake. Clean sanitary facilities and very friendly staff who speak Polish. I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Berlin because the connection between Elkner and Berlin is excellent.

Ventajas
Close to the lake, under trees, quiet, close to the S-Bahn station, good price-performance ratio, clean place
Desventajas
only: the approach to the site is a bit narrow on the last 500 m, especially when the bathers park on the edge
Recommended place for relaxation and sightseeing
Operators are very friendly and courteous. Nice place under trees. This made the heat bearable. The dip in the adjacent lake also helped. Very clean sanitary facilities. You should bring your own toilet paper. There is a transponder for showers and drinking water. But it's not expensive and understandable... because of the many users of the nearby bathing lake who are not campers. You get used to it. Erkner station is easily accessible by car in 10 minutes. The train takes 35 minutes to Alex. However, I would recommend the bike ride to Erkner station (approx. 20 min). During the week, all the parking lots around Erkner station are full. But you can also take the streetcar to the S-Bahn. Cars park outside in front of the campsite. We liked it here very much. A place to come back to.

Nice CP with connection to Berlin
Positive: Friendly, helpful operators! The CP is very nicely elevated on the Flakensee, only separated by a fence with an open gate. To the S-Bahn station Erkner it is about 5 km, there large parking lot and possibility to go directly without changing trains to Berlin. Alternatively, walk approx. 1000... m from the CP to Woltersdorf, from there take the streetcar to Rahnsdorf and then the S-Bahn to the center of Berlin. Air traffic can be heard, but not a problem. The tall pine trees provide light shade without obstructing the view. You get used to the transponder system a little, some things are exaggerated. Nice footpath along the lake. Shopping facilities in Woltersdorf approx. 2000 m away. (e.g. Lidl). Negative: The transponderei annoying when getting fresh water at the taps and when washing dishes. In the latter case, of course, you end up saving on cleaning the sink. In principle, however, the transponders are understandable, as otherwise bathers from the nearby beach would also use the (brand new) sanitary building. This is not in the interests of the campers. That is why access is only possible with a transponder. If necessary, you can rent two transponders so that you are independent of each other. Remaining credit and deposit will be refunded on departure. Tip: Keep your credit small in case you forget it. Deposit: 15 €. It can generally only be paid in cash and in advance. There are no refunds for early departures. There could be a shelf in the showers and the possibility to hang up your own toilet paper in the toilets. The paths are not paved, the marshy sand turns to dust when dry and your feet look accordingly after showering. All in all, we will gladly return to this campsite.

General cleanliness and a really warm friendliness of the operator.
One night at the Flakensee campsite
As we were invited to a birthday party in Berlin in mid-October 2017 and didn't feel like staying in an expensive guesthouse or hotel room, we called the Flakensee campsite to see if we could come for one night. The telephone contact was very friendly and we were able to come. Before the party, we first... came to the campsite to check in. The friendly operator showed us how to get into the gate at night. Everything went very smoothly. The campsite itself is in a very pleasant location by the lake. We stood under tall pine trees. The sanitary building is relatively new. Access is by chip. Please note that you are only allowed to enter the sanitary facilities with flip-flops and that you have to bring your own toilet paper. However, campers are informed of this when they register. In my opinion, this shouldn't be a problem at all, as campers should always have something like this with them. There is not much more that can be said about the site. The sanitary facilities and the pitch itself were in tiptop clean condition. And the friendliness of the operator deserves an extra rating star! We felt very comfortable!
