Ventajas
Sensational location directly behind the dyke in Ording. Great new sanitary buildings, tiptop clean. Very friendly staff. Bakery and small market right on site. Fish restaurant on site. No lunch break, you can always get off the pitch.
Desventajas
Pitches quite small and no separation by hedge or anything.
You can't get closer to the sea than this.
I've been here several times and will be back. You can walk your dog on the dyke and there are dog waste bags on the site.

Ventajas
Good starting point for beach days, hikes and bike tours. Super friendly staff, sanitary facilities spotless. Small kiosk with the essentials on site
Desventajas
Unfortunately no planting on the pitch. Hardly any privacy. Pitches quite small.
Directly behind the dike
We were guests in the low season, so there were few other campers on site. Certainly a great place for 2 or 3 nights, but I wouldn't come back in high season.
The bakery on site is quite expensive, but the bread rolls are delicious. The small restaurant is highly recommended and the price is perfectly acceptable.
If you like walking, you can reach a larger supermarket in about 20 minutes on foot.

Location

nothing
Good location, friendly staff
Most of this has already been written: pitches are small but very quiet. We had electricity and water directly at the pitch. No hedges or shady spots. Fish'n'chips (and more) also available to take away directly at the entrance, there is also a very good bakery and a small store. Bus stop with hourly... bus service to the town directly at the entrance, tickets are included in the tourist tax. Access to the dyke and beach directly at the campsite. Lots of dogs, but everything is very relaxed. Very friendly staff! The showers cost money and so you don't have "marathon showers". They are set to 4x1min. Why not 1 x 4 min and you can interrupt the time yourself? The sanitary facilities were always clean. All in all a nice short vacation, the place is perfect to explore the Eiderstedt peninsula. We will be back!

Ventajas
The proximity to the beach and the bistro.
Desventajas
The campsite itself is very profit-oriented. It has more the flair of a motorhome site. OK for 2 or 3 days. The ladies at reception are monosyllabic and not cooperative if you have pitch requests. The 2 wash houses are only cleaned once and that at peak times between 8.00 am and 9.30 am. With a full occupancy of the place absolutely too little and also far too few showers and washing places.
We won't be back
The place is very expensive. Showers cost 1.50 euros for 4 minutes. Even in Spain, where there is a water shortage, you pay nothing for this and the pitches are nicer.
There is a constant wind, very often with strong gusts. There are no windbreaks or hedges. This is common even in Holland.

Ventajas
Location, sanitary, clean, well-kept
Desventajas
Price for shower €1.50 for 4 minutes. Better would be 1€ for a little shorter
Beautiful place in an equally great location
Extremely well-kept site with impeccable sanitary facilities. Everything is well maintained and modern. The staff are courteous and there is a good, relatively inexpensive restaurant and a very good bakery right at the front of reception. There is also a small store next door. The beach, including the dog area, is in the immediate vicinity. What more could you want

Ventajas
You can't beat the location: just cross the small road and up the dyke and there it is - depending on the tide: the North Sea! The site is designed for motorhomes, is more suitable for wet weather than dry periods and is superbly equipped with gravel/grass pitches. Even with dogs, you can get into the camper van cleanly if you don't step on the grass.
Desventajas
The place is very functional, no frills, it is not a campsite to spend the day at the Womo, the area is too beautiful for that. No privacy protection and no shady spots available.
Space for active people
The sober and clear appearance of the site is in keeping with the site's mission: to provide a good and clean base for all kinds of activities. I found a lot of peace and relaxation here.

Ventajas
The location is great, on the outskirts of Ording just behind the dyke. Sufficiently large pitches. Sufficient, nice, clean sanitary facilities.
Desventajas
The power connections are a bit far away, so be sure to take an extension cable with you.
Great location, good sanitary facilities, anytime again
We will definitely be back. Great location just behind the dyke to the beach crossing. You can start wonderful hikes right away, and the cycle path towards Westerhever is right next to the campsite. Only a few meters to the bus stop for the local bus, which is free with the guest card. Excellent small... self-service restaurant "Fish&Chips", bakery and mini-market right next door. Clean, well-designed sanitary facilities with plenty of hooks and storage space. Plus point: paper towel dispensers and squeegees in the washrooms, which the guests also use, so everything is always nice and dry around the washbasins and the floor in the showers doesn't float. Showers cost 1.50 extra - which is absolutely ok. Stove and washing machine, dryer also available for a fee. Microwave even free of charge. Second sanitary building available and therefore you can always find a free shower, toilet ...

Ventajas
The site is located directly on the dunes, so you can reach the beach very quickly. A bakery, a mini market and a restaurant as well as bicycle rental complete the offer. The sanitary facilities are clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Desventajas
We had to stand on the gravel part of the pitch. It was very noisy when people walked or drove past. These pitches are also very small, so there is hardly any privacy. Finally, the price! We paid €96 for two nights with electricity for two people in June. Water is extra!
not again
We have stayed better and longer for so much money! We will not be back.

Ventajas
Great location, sanitary facilities very clean.
Desventajas
Gravel pitches, overpriced, condescending staff.
First dog, then human!
Dogs come first at the campsite, humans are just supporting actors here. Dogs are allowed to do anything here, they are tied up in front of the sanitary facilities and jump at you when you enter. This is also encouraged by the staff. I have nothing against dogs, I used to have one, but what is too much is too much.

Ventajas
Super friendly staff Renovated and clean bathrooms Playground on the premises Close to the beach
Desventajas
Gravel pitches, long distance to power box No parceled pitches, close together
Great location but overpriced for this type of pitch
We will probably come back again because of the great location to the beach. Unfortunately, we didn't like the pitches at all. The price-performance ratio was not right for us. The staff were always friendly and helpful, the sanitary facilities were always clean 🧼

Ventajas
- Direct proximity to the beach/ CP directly behind the dyke - Super nice, newly made bathroom especially for children - Super clean - Super sanitary facilities
Desventajas
Plots relatively small, but very well utilized thanks to good layout.
Super location, great campsite
We stayed at the campsite in mid/late September and were more than pleasantly surprised. We were a bit skeptical based on the reviews posted here, but were absolutely pleasantly surprised.
We received a great welcome at check-in, were directed to the pitch and taken there.
The clever layout gives you... some privacy and, at least in the rear area, the pitch is very, very quiet. Only the cows are right next to the fence in the morning, but that didn't bother us at all ;-)
The sanitary facilities are super clean and practically as good as new. The children's bathroom for the little ones is furnished with great attention to detail and really well done. The beach is within easy reach and the dog walking area is only a few hundred meters away. We are thrilled and would love to come back :-)

Ventajas
Just a few steps to the dyke and the dunes. Free bus stop in front of the campsite! Bakery, restaurant with reasonable prices and small store directly in front of the site. Showers with card work great. With one shower per day, electricity up to 5 kWh, water almost on site and sufficient sanitary facilities for 2 people, we paid €41 per night. The welcome was warm and problem-free. We quickly got a pitch without having to book in advance.
Desventajas
none
Great location-perfect reception
if you want to go to the sea in SPO you can only choose this place
Otherwise the paths without a bicycle (and we hate bicycles) are
much too far

Ventajas
The course scores with its good location
Desventajas
-very restless, -small pitches -too few sanitary facilities -nothing for children
Excessive price
You feel like you're on a parking lot, constant driving around of motorhomes on the gravel floor from 7.00 a.m. no more peace and quiet.
Sanitary facilities very open and cramped and simply not enough for the large number of campers.
The pitches just big enough to extend an awning.
Staff very arrogant... except for the groundsman, he is very overbearing.
No discount although the sanitary facilities can only be used from 08.00 - 20.00h, which then had to be cleaned at 9.00h first.
A tiny little playground with climbing tower completely inadequate for children.
Not a tree, no hedges .... a shame
Shower tokens €1.50, water refills €1.50, cassette cleaning €2 ......
Shopping facilities and bakery around the corner.
Bakery very well stocked!
Store has a lot of products at exorbitant prices.
z. e.g. 10 eggs 6€, 1l milk 1,92€

We were once again able to travel legally with the motorhome despite Corona. The disposal facilities are very good, the beach is only a few meters away on foot.
Desventajas
The constant wind was a bit annoying...
Very tidy place
I booked the campsite online. It went smoothly and without any problems. The reception was exemplary and the site is clean, but you're not rushed. There is a small restaurant, a small store and a bakery, so you can get around even if you don't want to leave.

Ventajas
The location of the pitch is its advantage.
Desventajas
The ladies at reception are aware of their dominion over their kingdom and rule their paying guests from their thrones
September 2020 Corona time
As already mentioned above, the friendliness at the reception is not at all good. But the technician/pitch worker is nice.
With our Womo 7.5 m it is already narrow but solvable.
You can be at the beach in 5 minutes and by bike in 10 minutes in "Bad" - the bear is raging there ... in other words lots... of restaurants and delicious food.
Of course - as everywhere on the North Sea great tours by bike possible.
Sanitary facilities too few - but now cleaned several times a day

Location good, unfriendliness unsurpassable

Small and informal, clean, friendly, good bistro, close to the beach.
Desventajas
Assortment store, W-Lan insufficient, additional costs for shower, bathroom system lacking control. Somewhat small pitches.
Very well located family campsite
Nice reception, good briefing on the site, short distances, very well located for the beach. Clean sanitary facilities, good bistro. Well suited for vacations with non-campers, as there are nice apartments on the site.

Ventajas
Location,location,location
Desventajas
Small pitches, too few and distant sanitary buildings, cooking and washing-up area outdated and calcified, no wifi, gravel floor.
Very good location, the place itself is average at best and very expensive.
The site is located directly at the beach access, which is the big advantage. A new barrier system makes it difficult for caravans to enter and leave, as there are large garbage containers in the entrance area. There are comparatively high additional costs on top of the basic prices: 4 minutes shower... costs a remarkable €1.50, a dog is charged at €5.00 per night. Electricity costs a whopping €4.00 per night. Cars must be parked on the campsite and are charged at 5.00 per night. There is also a visitor's tax. For 2 people with 2 dogs and a caravan, that's around €53 per night in high season. The pitches are very small and, thanks to the cars, you feel more like you're on vacation in a parking lot. The site is completely shade-free, the pitches are gravelled and have small grass areas. The gravel must be very difficult to negotiate for people with wheelchairs/walkers or other aids. The sanitary buildings are undersized and very far away for at least half of the guests. The newly introduced card system for the showers is relatively complicated and expensive (as already mentioned). The advertised wifi does not actually exist, but this would also require a router in the middle of the bare pitch. The small supermarket at the entrance is well stocked, and the self-service bistro serves very tasty fish dishes at local prices. The opening hours of the reception and supermarket in the HS are very short, closing punctually at 18:00. The campsite benefits from its location and it is obvious that the operators are rewarding this by charging for many extra services. Overall, this campsite is a better parking lot with undersized sanitary blocks (which are only cleaned once a day even when fully occupied) and a lack of water taps. For a comparable price, other campsites offer much more

Great place
Place close to the beach, really great for dogs. Staff really helpful and the sanitary facilities are really super clean. Too bad that there is no stable WLAN. The campsite facilities were good, but the supermarket is no longer there, which is a shame. The fish bistro is really great and delicious.
