A small, tranquil, peaceful spot on the edge of the Harz Mountains. There are plenty of hiking trails. The owners are very nice and friendly. The campground is dog-friendly and has a lovely playground for children.... You’re greeted by a warm, family-like atmosphere. You immediately feel at home. The campground is compact, very clean, and has ample and very clean restroom facilities. The restaurant is in a class of its own. I’ve never had such a good lumberjack steak. All in all, a great place. There’s nothing to criticize—we really enjoyed it and we’ll be back.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero!
- 1.0USUwe S.junio 20261.0USUwe S.junio 2026VentajasIt was very quiet, since we were almost the only ones there....DesventajasPoor cleanlinessA friendly greeting, but...We arrived on Sunday afternoon and were greeted warmly. Before we arrived, there had been a gathering here with about 100 people. The campsite was okay, and so was the food in the log cabin. On Monday morning, we were shocked by what we found in the restroom building—nothing had been cleaned, and the... three toilets were in such a state that we wanted to turn back, as were the two showers. Cleaning staff didn’t show up until Tuesday. The faucets on the site don’t work. Bread roll service is available from Friday through Sunday. The Wi-Fi is also down. Overall, the site makes a messy impression. We left early on Tuesday.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero!

Very nicely located small squareVery nice location, you immediately feel welcome
whether with a mobile home or caravan and, above all, dogs are still free here.
You can walk directly from the site into meadows, fields and woods.
Super restaurant on site and super nice operators.
The ambience in the restaurant is super nice and the... food is delicious.
The sanitary facilities are a little older, but always clean and decorated with a lot of heart. You can see everywhere here that someone is going to great lengths to make your stay as pleasant as possible. In short, a very nice little campsite with lots of attention to detail in a great scenic location.

I have never slept so well and for so long in my life as on this wonderful spot.
Everything I needed for camping was there.
Dogs are free of charge and are lovingly welcomed.
The site may be a little dark for some,... but the reward of seeing the starry sky is unique.
The site is currently being redesigned, which the operators are gradually undertaking, which is certainly not easy in the current situation.

We always like to come here to relax and recharge our batteries and our dog is always happy and welcome here. People know each other here and like to sit around the campfire for a beer in the evening. The owners are welcoming and our personal highlight is the... log cabin restaurant. The food there is always fresh and delicious and the ambience is simply beautiful. The site itself doesn't say it has any stars but we give it 5+ stars because it really is camping. That's how camping should be :)Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero!
- 5.0PRPetra R.enero 20225.0PRPetra R.enero 2022VentajasIn the middle of nature, ideal starting point, great hiking trails, great restaurant on site, friendly operators, cleanDesventajasActually noneHarz insider tipA natural campsite without luxury but with everything you need. We spent a few wonderful days here and have never slept as well as we did here. The operators are extremely friendly and helpful and the staff are also super nice. A highlight is definitely the restaurant on site, very cozy and really delicious,... we ate there every evening and enjoyed our glass of wine in front of the open fireplace. In the morning we were able to walk our 2 dogs directly from the campsite into the woods, which are free of charge! The sanitary facilities are not the newest but were spotlessly clean and adequate. The site itself is beautifully laid out and decorated with great attention to detail everywhere. We can recommend this campsite without reservation and will definitely be back. - 1.0MZMiriam Z.septiembre 20211.0MZMiriam Z.septiembre 2021VentajasThe walk to the stone church is highly recommended.Desventajas- Sanitary facilities - Sanitation - Service - Personnel - Parking space for vans - Price-performanceNot recommendedWe paid just as much for the van as for a motorhome. However, we were not allowed to stand on the motorhome pitches, only on the tent pitch. The sanitary facilities are disgusting. The faecal sinks are right next to the toilet cubicles, which makes for an acrid stench and is certainly questionable from... a hygiene point of view. There are only 2 shower cubicles for each gender. There is only one possibility to dry your clothes directly in front of the washroom. This means that you undress next to the person brushing their teeth or washing up and then shower behind the peky shower curtain.
One of the operators (who also serves in the restaurant) is super unfriendly and very quickly makes you feel unwelcome. For example, she snapped at a young father because his little son wanted to swing on a rocking horse. This was decoration, but it was not obvious. There was also no friendliness in the service. The chef did a good job and prepared delicious food, but it was a shame that the service was not pleasant.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 2.0RERosi E.agosto 20212.0RERosi E.agosto 2021VentajasLocation FriendlinessDesventajasSanitary facilities Pitch is unkempt Gray water disposalSummaryUnfortunately, it is not clear to me how an overall rating of "very good" can be given to this site.
The location and the friendliness of the operators can be rated as "very good", but that's it. The place is unkempt, the sanitary facilities urgently need to be renovated, but the cleanliness of the... toilets was fine.
Gray water can only be disposed of in a canister. There is no bread roll service on site, TV reception was not possible at all on our pitch, WLAN partially.
The rating is not fair in my opinion.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 3.0CPCam p.octubre 20203.0CPCam p.octubre 2020VentajasDirectly in nature, operator responds to wishes, WLAN directly on siteDesventajasThe sanitary building is very outdated. 2 showers, 3 toilets per gender are a bit few. Pitches could be straightened.CP directly in the countryside, expandableSmall CP directly in the countryside. Quiet location. Pitches large enough but should be straightened, sanitary building should be urgently renovated. We got on well with the offer. However, if we had seen pictures of the sanitary building, we would probably have gone somewhere else. No reception, no... information about the surrounding area. The rating is therefore somewhat unfair to other campsites. WLAN on site was mostly very good, but also necessary as there was no reception with D2.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero!
