Harald K.mayo 20251.0Harald K.mayo 2025VentajasGood location and quietDesventajasOnline reservation/bookingWarning for online reservation/booking!Warning for online reservation/booking!
We wanted to reserve two pitches online on 22.04.2025 for the weekend 16-18.05.2025, after many attempts no one could be reached by phone. However, it is not possible to make a reservation online, you can only book directly and have to pay by credit card.
Unfortunately,... we have now had to cancel due to illness. However, the cancellation fee is 80% of the costs if you cancel 0-21 days before your planned arrival. In addition, there are also processing fees, so that we have to pay even more money.
This is outrageous. You won't find such high costs on any other booking portal.
We will never book at this campsite again!Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 5.0RG
Reinhard G.agosto 20245.0RGReinhard G.agosto 2024VentajasSpacious pitches Peace and quiet on the site Starting point for many cycle tours Small spa with sauna on the doorstepDesventajasNothingPure rest and relaxation guaranteedFrom the friendly welcome to the great location - in the middle of nature and yet also close to Gartow - to the peace and quiet on the site, everything is perfect, at least for us. If you need entertainment, you've come to the wrong place!
Great and always clean sanitary facilities, which could also... be due to the relatively low occupancy at our time.
You can go on great bike tours from here. A very hot tip: to the Fischer Kagel on the Arendsee!
And if the weather doesn't play along - the thermal baths and sauna right next door await their guests.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 5.0CPCorina P.junio 20225.0CPCorina P.junio 2022VentajasBread roll service small kiosk Edeka and Penny in the immediate vicinityDesventajasnoneSpent 2 nights here with the motorhomeVery nice and well-kept campsite.
Unfortunately, the site was very little frequented, a pity for the operator, who tries very hard.
Ideal for cycling.

There is a small kiosk in reception where you can order bread rolls. There is a coffee machine and ice cream. You can also buy sweets, newspapers/magazines, drinks and the most basic groceries (mainly tinned food), as well as a few camping items. Gas bottles can... also be exchanged. The site is quite large, but well divided into many smaller areas so that the size is not noticeable. The pitches are spacious. There are shady pitches under trees and sunny pitches without shade. The playground is very simple and doesn't offer much. But there is a municipal water playground opposite the site. And next door is a thermal spa. Guests have discounted entry. There is also a bistro there, which you can probably reach in the same way (i.e. without paying admission). But we didn't go there ourselves. The sanitary buildings were older. One of the toilets didn't have a cubicle door, but everything else was fine. The cleanliness was good. But I don't understand why the cleaning is done at 8 in the morning. To shower you need shower tokens which last for 7 minutes. When you turn off the water, the time stops running. I thought that was very good. One shower token is easily enough. I didn't see any cooking facilities. But I didn't look at all the sanitary buildings. There are three of them.
The bathing lake and the town center with a few stores and restaurants can be reached in no time by bike. It's also easy to reach on foot. There is an EDEKA in the village.
We liked it and can imagine coming back for a long weekend. However, we wouldn't spend our annual vacation there. But that's not because of the location, but because it doesn't have much to offer apart from nature that would interest children.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 5.0JVJürgen V.octubre 20205.0JVJürgen V.octubre 2020VentajasLocated in the countryside and yet close to townDesventajasNonePeace and quiet under a starry skyI liked the fact that you were only allowed in the shower rooms without street shoes. - 3.0PFPeter F.septiembre 20203.0PFPeter F.septiembre 2020VentajasMany pitches Large tent meadowDesventajasLow level of staff commitment Very long distancesNot inspiringLow feel-good factor right from the start. It's a large site with many areas, both parceled out and available as a large meadow. But: I don't understand why the tent meadow has to be as far away as possible from the sanitary facilities while the mobile homes are right next to it. The fact that the sanitary... building closest to the tent meadow was cleaned in the morning and then a further walk was necessary doesn't exactly lead to satisfaction either. Yes, and then there was the kiosk that sold beer and water as drinks - and the range of basic foodstuffs was even worse.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero!

- 5.0CKChristian K.junio 20205.0CKChristian K.junio 2020VentajasBeautifully maintained grounds and never overcrowded. Great area in the Vierländereck.DesventajasI can't think of anything. There was no hot water in sanitary block 1, as a solar thermal system is being installed, but that's not really a disadvantage either, as there are 2 other sanitary blocks. I'm only writing this because you have to write something.Very nice campsiteThe site itself is spacious, relatively large but thanks to the good sanitary facilities and, in my opinion, quite large pitches, you are undisturbed and rarely have to wait in the sanitary block.
The staff are super nice and courteous, the store has all the essentials, but the town is not far away and the first supermarket is about 900m away.
I've been there several times and it's always nice.
The place, the area and the people.

Astrid T.junio 20201.0Astrid T.junio 2020VentajasThe nearby lake, the extra meadow for tents, spacious pitches without parceling limits.DesventajasThe interpretation of the Corona hygiene measures has tripled our accommodation costs with significantly less comfort.Camping in Corona Phase 3We were traveling by bike. Instead of spending the night in the tent field, we were told that we had to take a pitch for €28.80 because it was equipped with a drinking water connection.
We were told to use the drinking water connection to brush our teeth, as this is not allowed in the sanitary facilities.... We were only allowed to use the sanitary facilities to go to the toilet and shower. When we checked in, we signed that we would be expelled if we disregarded the instructions listed on two pages.
We didn't need either the drinking water connection or the electricity connection and yet we paid more than twice as much as on around 100 other pitches in 2019 and 2020.
Such an interpretation of the hygiene measures can really spoil your trip. Fortunately, we have never experienced this again in Germany in recent weeks.
In addition, understandably and expectedly, most of the other activities with which this park 'in the middle of nowhere' advertises were of course not usable: price-performance ratio :-(Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 5.0MVMargrit V.mayo 20205.0MVMargrit V.mayo 2020VentajasA wonderful site close to nature. The walking distance to the thermal baths is brilliantDesventajasAnyone who complains here has only themselves to blame.Wonderful! We were only in Wendland for a short trip. But a super nice welcome at reception. Very spacious site with sufficient and above all clean sanitary facilities. Dog owners can leave the site through special gates to go into the adjacent forest. We felt very comfortable with two people and a dog and will... definitely be back. If you really want to put on 800 sandpaper for the purpose of improvement, shower tokens are no longer "up to date".
