Private swimming lake Beer garden Action Golf course Plenty for kids, such as an animal enclosure and a playground New restroom facilities
Desventajas
You have to pay extra for everything (electricity, showers, go-karts, etc.). Many long-term campers and day-trippers No hot water for washing dishes, and far too few dishwashing stations overall No facilities for doing laundry
A well-established campground on the outskirts of Bielefeld
Campingpark Bielefeld is a very well-run campground that also focuses on day trips. The beer garden with its restaurant is full of day visitors, which is perfectly fine, but it’s something you should just be aware of. There’s plenty for young children to do here, and our child had a lot of fun. The lake... is a nice bonus but not particularly beautiful. I found the sites to be very spacious, and electricity and water were available. The restrooms were clean, and there were also smaller restrooms and wash stations scattered throughout the park. However, the availability of dishwashing facilities is poor—there aren’t enough of them, and some only had cold water. Overall, it’s a solid campground, and since we enjoy visiting Bielefeld, we’d definitely come back here again.

Very modern and clean wash house with music, lake only for campers, new toilet cubicles all over the site, so you never have to walk far.
Desventajas
I can't think of anything negative.
Super campsite, beautiful lake
A very nicely laid out campsite with lots of animals such as kangaroos, small monkeys, parrots etc.
The wash house is very modern and there is even music.
Friendly staff and a very nice bar.
Leisure facilities such as trampolines? Basketball and soccer field, playground, mini golf.
We will be back!

Ventajas
Well-kept animal enclosures, large pitches, clean sanitary facilities, quiet, competent staff, spacious, cozy restaurant area,
Desventajas
No shopping facilities nearby, no mini store for everyday needs available on the site.
Well-kept and versatile facility
We were on the site for the first time in July 2024, the staff are very friendly, helpful and competent. The site makes a very well-kept impression overall, with the exception that many of the permanent pitches are overgrown and spoil the overall picture.
The variety of animals, from kangaroos to various... types of poultry, parrots and monkeys as well as fish ponds, is impressive and extremely appealing.
The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and clean.
Pitches for motorhomes and caravans are located on mostly flat meadows, are generously laid out and are partly separated by natural hedges.
As we keep coming back to Bielefeld, we will definitely visit this site again, also because the price/performance ratio is right.

Beer garden. Quarry pond
Desventajas
Scary permanent campsites. Showers and sanitary facilities catastrophic. No WLAN.
Sanitary an imposition
This campsite, like many, is characterized by permanent campers. Unfortunately, many of these sites are run-down and littered. The pitch is apparently misused as a parking area for all sorts of things, which is also reflected in the many cars that have been deregistered.
The sanitary block is an imposition.... Two toilets for the large part of the site? Are you serious? These are cleaned once a day. Yay! That doesn't work at all. Showers with hot water are only available when no one else is showering. It's not big enough, but the money runs through at a rapid pace. I've never experienced it more expensive. There are many animal enclosures with kangaroos, parrots, etc. on the site. It's debatable whether this is necessary, but all the animals and facilities looked well looked after. Many leisure activities cost extra. The beer garden is of good quality.

Bus and train stop to Bielefeld can be reached on foot in approx. 15-20 minutes
Desventajas
In the winter season there is also no bread service on site and the opening hours of the reception are not visible
Explore Bielefeld and the surrounding area
For a visit to Bielefeld this place is ideal, bus and train stop within 15-20 minutes walking distance, unfortunately no footpath, you have to walk on the street.
The pitches are large and equipped with electricity/water/waste water (water was also on in Feb.). The sanitary building is older, but was... clean. There is currently a swimming lake and a mini golf course. Kangaroos, parrots and monkeys can be admired in the mini zoo, and in the season there is also a restaurant, beer garden, farm store etc.
If you would like to visit Dr. Oetker (guided tour with tasting of the products), you must register in advance and will then be given an appointment.

Bathing lake from 2020 that will be great
Desventajas
Small merchant would be nice when the farm store is closed.
That could still be something........
A quaint place that is on the right track! The playground for the children is great, the beer garden is inviting, the small animal park very appealing. The pitches are big enough. The wash house is getting on in years, but clean!

Nice beer garden and soon a swimming pond.
Desventajas
Just an old medical supply store.
We only stayed one night ...
... at this campsite because we were passing through. The reception was very friendly and the beer garden is great. The tourist pitches are a good size. Unfortunately, there is only one sanitary block for everyone and this urgently needs to be renovated. The one ladies toilet was already broken out of... the wall, but the toilet cubicle was not locked, so you get a fright when the toilet gives way. There were also only a few showers and these were also very old. Next year there will be a swimming pond, which will certainly be a nice addition. When the medical supply store is renovated and possibly a second one is added, I could imagine going on vacation there.

Play facilities for the children, beautiful location, nice staff, (apparently) the beer garden
Desventajas
Wash house in need of renovation
Nice campsite
We stayed at the campsite for one night. We received a friendly welcome and were allowed to choose our own pitch. The pitches are quite large and you can choose whether you want to stand in the shade or in the sun. There are both large trees and open spaces. For the children there are a few nicely designed... animal enclosures with kangaroos, little monkeys, cockatoos, guinea pigs, bantams, etc. and there are lots of play opportunities. There is also a beer garden on the campsite, which we didn't try out ourselves but which was very busy on Saturday evening. The car parking lot was full and there were a lot of people there by bike. The only thing we didn't like was the wash house. It was clean. But it was getting on in years and was in urgent need of renovation. But all in all, we felt very comfortable there for the one night.

Animal care, people with tents not really nice places at the back of t field
Camping with animals that I'm not sure belong there
I am concerned about the animals kept there. There is a swan in a small pond with some ducks. She looks depressed and vlgs me the management is not looking at her. It is cared for by bystanders. I also have my doubts about other animals. In my opinion, no added value.

Ventajas
The proximity to the highway and the peace and quiet on the site
Desventajas
Unfortunately no newspaper sales on the square
Camping: Close to the highway
In addition to the many people seeking relaxation here, the site is also well suited as a transit site. The advantage of being able to leave the caravan on the train. Bread rolls available on site. Restaurant with good, reasonably priced food. The small zoo is also noteworthy. Lots to keep children occupied. The only downside is that the pitches for permanent campers from old campsites look very unkempt.

Ventajas
Quiet location, yet close enough to the B61, A2 and A33. Large plots. Lots of great games for children. Gastronomy and beer garden top
Desventajas
Too few and outdated sanitary facilities (but cleaned regularly). Not always hot water, although 30 cent/min. Shower fee.
Rest and relaxation
We tried the site for three nights and were very pleasantly surprised at how nice it is here (after all, we live in Bielefeld). Very good pitches, quiet on the site and an excellent beer garden with good food. We were very pleased with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. In our opinion, the... sanitary facilities are too small (2 toilets and 3 urinals for men and 3 showers could lead to waiting times; the same applies to the ladies). Many permanent campers, but not annoying. We can definitely recommend the site.

Great place, there is a lot on offer
Desventajas
Sanitary facilities could possibly be enlarged, but this is not really a disadvantage.
Great little place
We were guests there over Whitsun 2019 and we liked it very much. Sanitary facilities were a bit small and maybe a bit too few in high season, could be improved. But they were always clean! The site itself starts off adventurous for children, a small monkey enclosure, guinea pigs, kangaroos, ducks, chickens,... just lovely to see. There is also a large playground, a trampoline area and Kettcars from Berg can be hired for a small fee. The pitches are relatively spacious and we were able to fit our boat on them comfortably. There is also a beer garden on the site, which offers food and drinks at very moderate prices. Everything is beautifully green, and there is a bathing lake under construction that borders directly on the site and will then be available for guests. The surrounding area is well worth a visit: Lenkwerk (classic cars, workshops, parts sales) Sparrenburg in the middle of Bielefeld Tierpark on the other side of the mountain where the TV tower stands => EVERYTHING FREE, only parking has to be paid for at the Tierpark, but this benefits the park At the next family reunion we will definitely visit the site again!

It's relaxed for short vacationers. For the vacationers who stay a little longer it is also very relaxed. You have so many possibilities to do something outside of Bielefeld. You can relax, meet new people. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The surroundings are beautiful.

That they allow young people there who make 1 big disco of it which we were not waiting for. That it was a big construction site but the full
It looked like a construction site.
There were youngsters admitted who with a group built a complete disco in the middle of the campers. What a horror. Complaining to owner was of little use. Did not sleep the whole night there. What a noise.

Staff very friendly, children are well occupied, everything very green and quiet, quick access to the city and hiking trails. Great gastronomy
Desventajas
Buses don't go to the city very often, by car or train no problem.
Ideal for a short vacation with children
We stayed here for the weekend with our two children (4 and 9 years old) and were very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very helpful and gave us good tips for our excursions into the city and the Teutoburg Forest. The site itself is very green and quiet. Our children were well occupied. Thanks to... the good weather, our little one was kept busy with the water park in the playground and our son got his money's worth with the Kettcar rental and trampoline jumping. We adults were able to relax in the beer garden right next to the playground. The highlight was the barbecue, which prepared venison skewers and the like on site - I never knew that venison tasted so delicious. Our children also loved the different animals there. Monkeys, cockatoos and little kangaroos ... so not exactly the usual farm animals :) We will definitely be vacationing here again.
